is the pivot
between good and evil.
Take care
in placing
the pivot too close
to either end
lest one to touch
the earth while the other
lays high in the sky.
Remove the pivot,
and good and evil
may lay flat upon the earth
so that one no longer
needs to do
a balancing act
between good and evil.

"To lay flat on the earth" means to become "grounded.
When a person removes all sense of self-consciousness, then his mind controls his ego.
As a result, all sense of "I am" is left behind.
This makes it easier to let go of that balancing act between good and evil.
In letting go of that act, one's moral fiber is strengthened.
