The Path to Purity

When you see with discernment,
'All fabrications are inconstant'--
you grow disenchanted with stress.
This is the path to purity.

When you see with discernment,
'All fabrications are stressful'--
you grow disenchanted with stress.
This is the path to purity.

When you see with discernment,
'All phenomena are not-self'--
you grow disenchanted with stress.
This is the path
to purity.

-Dhammapada, 20, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.

In the footnote
are two articles on the vital strategy to living life to the fullest: the concept of not-self or no-self.

Indeed, the question of one's existence is moot.

For the 4 Noble Truths help diagnose and relieve suffering.

According to the Not-Self Strategy, the Buddha considered the arising of knowledge that all phenomena are not-self to be spiritually liberating.

All phenomena refers to information perceived by the five senses, and the sixth sense, mind or consciousness.

Not-self refers to the Other i.e. the pronouns other than "I", "me", and "mine" refer to Not-self.
