Herbal Salad Greens

Salad herbs

I see a lot of this spinach substitute, which has distinctive arrow-like leaves with a tangy, acidic flavour. Though it is high in oxalic acid, when used moderately, it would not poison people into using comoon herbs to supplement their Western diet.

This plant is also good cooked like spinach with salmon, chopped pecan and mandarin orange pieces.
