October 5, 2010: It's taken me this long (21 years coming this Thanksgiving) to realize that using meditation in my room is only half of the solution to relaxation. For the other half of it is to get outside and practise the other part of it by sharing with others.
Yesterday also marks the first day I actually went over to my mother's without getting into a stupid argument over nothing with her.
It looks like my transformation is just beginning...

Since this post was first written over 3 years ago, I have been getting out more often. The word "relaxation" refers to stress reduction. Meditation has improved my ability to handle stress. As well, I have been getting out more often, up to 4 days a week. Back then it was like 2 days a week.
In the years since this post, my relationship with my mother has improved. Even though sometimes I may get upset with her, I realize that it is my responsibility to choose not to reamin that way for the sake of family harmony.
