IMO the main reason why the F-35 project is costing $40+ billion is to line the pockets of the CPC.
This is why the Ministry of Defense didn't put out an open tender.
Why do we need this jet? For the cost of the program, Canada could start its own manufacturing plant for jets. Yet it won't because then the US would sent saboteurs to prevent competition with its industry.
So, watch Peter McKay carefully. He's wasting taxpayers' dollars.
