Just as I am

To act just as I am, I do so without thought for becoming a Buddha, though it has been said all sentient beings have Buddha Nature.

If all sentient beings have Buddha Nature, then I too have Buddha Nature. Thus, to act as I am is to act for the good of others.

Since all sentient beings have Buddha Nature, acting for the good of others becomes second-nature with practice.

For the good of others consists of the willingness to provide comfort to them through word and deed, and to lend a helping hand when they need it, without thinking of oneself.

Even so, this altruism is balanced with self-care i.e. taking one's own needs into account before offering assistance to others.
