Maybe After Montreal Madonna Will Be Proud to be French

Secretly I am a fan of Madonna, since we're the same age.

If you've been viewing my dancing videos on here, then she's an inspiration. But she's got lots of training as a dancer.

I have none.

Recently, I've read her unauthorized biography. Then I read her authorized bio by her fellow Italian American.

It's the same time period I like reading: her childhood, her mom dying of cancer at age 5, her first dance teacher, that gay guy who died of AIDS, the synagogue years, her time with Camille, and then her break.

So it was thrilling to hear that in this years tour, Madonna will be performing in her maternal grandmother's town, Montreal. After all these years of being proud to be Italian, maybe she'll be proud of being French-Canadian, too.

Maybe.

I bet she wowed Montreal.

Her best works were from 1983-1990.

Then she got rid of her own team, including her ex-lover, Steve Bray.

Starting with Erotica in 1992, she either shocked us or dabbled at Hinduism briefly.

In the Confession tour, her new works are basically house (the revamed Disco).
