My Big Bang Stones Experience

Today I was positioned as security guard watching the dressing room crew.

The head of the dressing room crew, Beth, glided in and out of her office space singing.

And I thought, "Mick doesn't hire just anybody, he hires talent."

So I Googled Beth, and discovered that she got picked up by the band for dressing room crew in Phoenix in 1994!

This ain't any run of the mill band!

This is a great mix of US and UK talent.

And it'd be my pleasure tomorrow to look after the Onstage Experience with 80 other teammates from our security company.

Late tonight, my supervisor calls me up to work from 8am Saturday morning.

I agreed, knowing full well he'd keep me on for 16 hours.

Saturday consisted of 16 hours with no breaks or food or drink

She felt sorry for me, and the guys in our area in BC Place in the area north of West Airlock, before the endzone.

Her co-worker in the dressing-room team gave me a small bottle of Evian, and my co-worker J. got a large bottle. One co-worker, he got a hot dog. I don't know if the Russian co-worker got anything.

Later, Beth asked if her gofer gave us food. I said one guy got a hotdog but that was it.

Then Beth gave me fruit rolls and a bag of almonds to pass around, and she fed the lady who got to meet Mick and Mr Wood face-to-face.

BTW the Onstage Experience is an idea of Mick's girlfriend, which makes me wonder if she thought it up after sharing a bowl of hash with Jagger.




This so-called Experience, you can't see anything.

A real experience would be joining my security company or NASCO, the monkeys who take down the stage, or temporary agency that calls up make-work companies to send in people.

Finally, to highlight my evening, I asked Beth's last name. She said "Springer."

Holy fawk! It is the dressing room manager.
