Spice Girls Reunion: Tell Me What You Really, Really Want, Canada!

First, a word from Dylan Martinez of REUTERS on the Spice Girls Reunion...

The Spice Girls are expected to announce a reunion tour on Thursday, ending months of speculation about the five-member band that brought girl power to the music scene.

You know what I really, really want, Spice Girls? A Canadian tour after you finish your $20-million-a-Spice-Girl global tour. Coincidentally, the current tour begins on Pearl Harbour Day (December 7 of this year) in Los Angeles. While they only have 12 of the 25 venues announced, it seems obvious that Canada may be excluded, perhaps to save money.

What really cinched it for the original Spice Girls as a symbol of Cool Britannia was Gerri Halliwell in a Union Jack dress. Though, with mothers among the Spice Girls, it makes me wonder if they can all honestly promote Girl Power when some of them have embraced motherhood.

So you now know what I really, really want from those Spice Girls!
