Birth brings a new life to live,
to exist anew,
and yet inevitably,
without exception,
aging and death befalls all.
Because death is always near,
life is precious,
so precious that it encourages
each of us to live
our lives to the fullest.
By living each day as though
it were my last,
I am encouraged to live
my life to the fullest.
Namu Amida Butsu!
