Computers have helped their users to develop their minds, using their behavioral and mental attributes as mind tools to help understand themselves and others.
Though, the ego needs to be daily deflated in order to maintain its health. In real life, nobody cares if you think you have one. They care more about how you can help them be connected to others.
People respect what one can do with one's skills and attributes to improve our lives - to be helpful and of service to others without thought of fame and gain.
With growing experience and a positive mindset, the computer aids those of us dedicated to that pursuit.
For myself, the advanced skill-set I use is due exposure to Linux since 1992, and especially due to the decision in 2006 to switch to Ubuntu Linux circa 2007. Since then, my Linux experience has grown.
As a result of computer use, I have grown to appreciate the work of many people associated with Ubuntu Linux, and especially with Linux itself. My thanks to them, and to Mark Shuttleworth of Canonical and especially to Linus Torvalds!
