Know Thyself (poem)

Forever be the mystic lover of life,
Yet expose that mysticism to scrutiny daily
Lest occultism lead to tragedy and death.
Only the mysticism of the Unknown
Is open to scrutiny, revealing the Knowable.
It begins when the mystic lover applies
The ancient Delphic oracle's advice to "Know thyself."

This poem is a commentary on Matthew Fox's 95 Theses.
