Colorful discharges of light between thunderclouds and the atmosphere are being studied by Taiwan.

Called elves, the phenomenon is too subtle for the naked eye to see.

Usually red due to light scattering, the optical phenomenon has been studied for years.

Rationale for mixing religion with erotic images

On one side we have Buddhism emphasizing moderation. On the other, eros in full bloom. The nude form is beautiful, both male and female.

In no way do these erotic images imply that one must violate the precept of Buddhism regarding sexuality: unrestrained sexual activity that harms other sentient beings.

Thus, it is okay to view the naked human form. It is not okay to excuse one's sexual behavior when it leads to abuse of privilege and position in society, be it West or East.
