Tunisia To Get Moderate Islamists Back

It's great to hear that the dictator Bel Ali has fled with the Tunisian people's head tax to hide out in Dubai and bribe Saudi officials in anticipation of "disappearing" amongst his oil-wealthy Saudi buddies.

Yet I am still saddened to hear that the police have used the shock and awe method of keeping order in a country where their primary use was as a tool for Ben Ali to cling to power as only a dictator can, i.e. lots of bribes from America, more bribes from tourists holidaying in a de facto socialist state, and even more bribes from Saudis who considered Ben Ali to be an honorable Muslim even Qutb would be proud of.

In the future, I predict there may be a protest march in major cities in the West in solidarity with the moderates of Tunis. Let the cry be heard: INSHALLAH!

Let "peace, love, unity, solidarity and respect" be in their hearts!

Let us also hope that democracy rules in Tunis.

Oh Rabat! (poem)

Introduction

This poem is dedicated to the women of Tunisia who are feminists.

The use of history and mythology of Tunis is symbolic for the feminist cause, despite the socialists among them that deride it due to a lack of knowledge of their own history due to refusing to use historical data because men wrote it.

In no means do I imply that a return to paganism will help the women of Tunis. However, the hardliners who support the Ennahda Movement are sympathetic of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the brave survivors of Arab Spring there must be willing to stand up to them despite current oppression.

Please continue to expose corruption and especial violence against women there.

Oh Rabat, Thou art the face of Ba'al Hammon,
his consort who inspires warriors in times of need.
Oh Rabat, Thou art Mother who nurses the wounded,
and guides the heros to Heaven.
Oh Rabat, by Thee, Carthage was blessed once.
Today, thine mystery has been lost
since Thy Tophet was desecrated
by the Romans when Thy blessed city fell.
Even in that ancient city which lies in ruins,
only the call of the Maghreb can be hear,
in the mother tongue of Arabs,
after arriving in time to see thy priestesses
become their wives as Muslims today.
Oh Rabat, protect all women who apostate
from the ravages of the Salafists.
Oh Rabat, protect all girls from the needle
that makes them virgins, and from underaged marriage.
Oh Rabat, be the face of Ba'al Hammon
that appears to your priestesses today,
whom the people of Tunis mistake for the mad.
Oh Rabat, protect them all.
