Propaganda Reason for Chinese Anti-Japanese Sentiments

Why do you think China is has antipathy towards Japan? Well, Beijing promotes antipathy but never tells the people Japan is one of China's biggest trade partners.

To get to the point, Chinese people are exposed to propaganda against Japan from grade school.

Anti-Japanese sentiment makes it easy to control the people by using them as political tools. When the CCP needs a bunch of people to protest against Japan, they have willing volunteers to hold signs and banners on which are written nasty stuff about Japan.

Additionally, the resulting prejudice may also cause backlash against people in the Japanese diasphora who never were born in Japan, and are mostly English-speaking Americans & Canadians, and Portuguese-speaking Brazilians.

When I first talked with Chhinese people on the internet, even I got the anti-Japanese sentiment. I had to explain to them that I was born in Canada, and hold no ties to Japan at all.

To the best of my knowledge I like whatever is progressive in Japan. Anyone Japanese who transcends the tradition-only mentality is a liberal-minded trail-blazer.

What I object to strongly is the fascist zealotry of Japanese ultra-nationalists who demand the Japanese Prime Minister keep his responsibility to honor the war dead at Yasakuni Shrine.

In memory there was one Japanese PM who didn't honor this traditional commitment, but he had a short run in the Japanese Diet.

Anti-Japanese sentiments are usually the work of propaganda. Yet we only see it in the People's Republic of China and occasionally in Tawianese politics.

From what I have observed, South East Asia has abandoned such sentiments because Japanese industries have invested in countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Indeed, there also is a strong following of JPOP stars in SE Asian, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Since we know that propaganda published by the CCP gets spoon-fed to Chinese people from cradle to grave, it would be interesting to see if Chinese international students going to universities in the West have strong anti-Japanese sentiments.

In conclusion I find the Youtube video included with this blog post to be apt. In contrast, the anti-American movie PROPAGANDA reveals more about Chinese propaganda and its effect on Chinese citizens than it does about America as land of decadent hedonism. Though, the majority of American propaganda is marketing consumer products to the consumers, who get indoctrinated on how to be successful as consumers.

YMMV

The Truth About Propaganda

Propaganda consists of commercial marketing (advertising) and political marketing. Overall, there is no difference between the two.

Advertising consists of propaganda, which are full of white lies that markets  product to consumers who are themselves manufactured from the People into zombies whose purpose in life is to get a 9-5 job and become model consumers.

However, both advertising and political marketing are reserved for Big Business.

Any kind of truth marketing is labeled "propaganda" in order to reduce confusion among consumers so that they do not experience cognitive dissonance and thus decide to stop buying product.

This is why anti-corporate and socialist marketing are considered propaganda, which most corporate advertisers will not run on billboards and newspapers.

Thus corporate propaganda is full of white lies, that only represent one side of whatever it is marketing, be it political or commercial.

In contrast, truth marketing (socialist propaganda) has been labeled by the powers-that-be to be the only propaganda.

Most propaganda contains the inherent logical fallacies resulting from emotional appeal.

Given that propaganda is full of logical fallacies, any person who buys into the myth which propaganda promotes is deemed a consumer, and consequently no longer is of the People, nor does he think for the People or even for himself, and looks down on anything created by the People.

For the consumer consumes product produced by Big Business, which is a gigantic zombie monster legally defined as a person with more rights than the People.

Sex Sells! A Commentary on the Use of Women in Consumer Marketing

Here is a propaganda piece in Spanish. The youtube comment that rankles me is this one:
"Why do you think women have breasts? Why do you think they flash them all the time. It's advertisement."

No, actually in certain circles of post-modern descendants of Roman culture it's expected of women to dress like this. You will see this in Portugal, Spain, Italia, Romanian and even Greece with culturally distinct flavors of it across Europe and the Americas, especially in the US, Latin America, Central America, and South America.

A careful search of Youtube for TV broadcasts in the US, Mexico, Nicaragua, Belize, Guatamala, Panama, Brasil, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay and other Latin American countries tends to confirm this.

It is actually a form of propaganda called marketing that attracts men more effectively to television based on their focus on women who dress in such a manner.

Since the objective of media outlets is to generate revenue from advertising, which is the most popular form of marketing today helping corporations to manufacture consumers from willing viewers of radio and television.

For advertising is consumer marketing, and subtle forms of the motto, "Sex Sells" are proven daily.

All you need is one picture.

In the case of the woman I chose to focus on, Natalia Domestico is a reporter for Noticias En Vivo, a Spanish language TV news for KRCA in Los Angeles, California.

KRCA is owned by Liberman Broadcasting, a media company operating out of Burbank, California. It caters mainly to the Spanish-speaking community of greater LA and Houston but is affiliated with Vida TV, which targets the Spanish-speaking immigrant community, HTTV and STV which targets the Mandarin-speaking Chinese community.

Since the 1990s and early 2000s, Liberman Broadcasting has expanded into Dallas and San Diego.

However, this is but a Latino macrocosm that extends into the countries mentioned above. I have also included Italy, Greece and Romania to acknowledge the post-modern descendants of the ancient Roman culture which enriched the language and traditions of these nations and the Romantic Language macrocosm.

Happy New Years !

All my prayers go out to everyone, regardless of religious affiliations or lack thereof.

May your new year lead to revelations that cause you to avoid basing your life on the usual lies and propaganda that you currently believe to be truth and good news.

You know who I am talking about: the news media, whose sole purpose is to edutain you with myths about this post-modern world against the background musak of post-modern pop.

In the new year I plan to talk more freely about this threat to human creativity.

For now, turn off your TV and go out Boxing Week to pick up a couple CDs on classical music, which is free, free of propaganda especially advertising and marketing of consumer products.

May we all develop critical thinking so that we may protect our hearts from ignorance!
