Let's start to appreciate life by reading from Nembutsu and Zen, the sayings of Nembutsu Zen Master Zuiken. According to this site, "Shido Bunan" means the ultimate path.
It is said that one should be dead to passion, but alive to divine love. Only then is death respected equally with life. This thought is only depressing when we fear death. When we accept death as a wholesome part of existence in this world, life becomes worth living. For it is worth living precisely because of Love.
Inspired by the Journey to the West, Gandhara is devoted to both Western and Eastern Truth.
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ - Hail the Lord whose name eliminates spiritual darkness.
Om Ganeshaya Namaha (ॐ गणेशाय नमः) - Homage to Ganesha.
Unconditional love tranquilizes the mind, and thus conquers all.

Repentance (Poem)
Repentance bears fruits both sour and sweet:
Sweet redemption ferments one
Who gives vain promises to God again,
While vict'ry turns sour.
If he who errs tries again,
The marks he's made might cause him pain
With goals set higher than his aim.
When he attains each goal within his reach,
A lesson he has learned:
Keep one's aim within one's reach.
Within one's reach is one's sacred heart;
Close to one's heart, the precious soul.
Touched by God, this spark has lit anew
Forgiveness so divine.
When she succeeds in her life
By learning much from each failure,
Her goals may be set much higher
Until she makes the mark with great success.
Having learned her lesson,
With modesty shall she thus confess:
"All the sins that lead one to regret
Bring that soul to repentance,
Until, once again pardoned by Him,
One comes closer to God."

The World's Divine (poem)
As a child, the world's divine,
and perfect in every way
for my heart was once unstained.
Then I grew up, and clearly saw
my world is not so perfect,
and such ideals were all in vain.
Through endless practice,
calm insight liberates me
from perfection's stain.
Freed from ideology, one is able
to show respect for all life, and
to see the world as divine, once again.

Then I grew up, and clearly saw
my world is not so perfect,
and such ideals were all in vain.
Through endless practice,
calm insight liberates me
from perfection's stain.
Freed from ideology, one is able
to show respect for all life, and
to see the world as divine, once again.

The Divine Ocean of Love
"Maha Samadhi is the final conscious abandoning of the physical body. Every infinitesimal piece of attachment or karma is completely surrendered unto God and dissolved into the Divine Ocean of Love. The individual transcends to worlds beyond karma and returns to God to merge into God. = Nirvana"
Samadhi comes from many years of meditative contemplation and practice.
Yet the Nembutsu practice helps prepare one for a meditative state of mind, when one mindfully contemplates the meaning of Amida's 48 vows and His Pure Land of Bliss.
