The Value of Role Reversal (satire)

In all the talk of feminism giving women equal rights with men, why is it that women get annoyed with passive men when they are no less aggressive than men?

In my first relationship, I was passive and my girlfriend at the time was naturally aggressive in all positive sense of the word. Yet she wondered why I wouldn't take the initiative.

Perhaps some women are so afraid of taking the leading role in a male-female relationship that they resort the principle of sharing responsibility in a relationship and get annoyed when a man doesn't take his responsibility seriously.

I know that my passivity is a trait that helps me in a relationship because it helps me to determine how aggressive the woman is. From my experience, it appears that some women think they are doing all the work in the relationship and forget that in most traditional relationships, it is the men who do most of the work by initiating most activities they share together.

As for being totally passive, I would deny this because my aggression is channelled into my passivity. This is not passive-aggressive behavior. This is passivity moderated by aggression into a creative aspect of the relationship. In a sense, it is a role reversal in that I am behaving contrary to the traditional male role which is contrary to the ideals of post-modern society.

While I may behave passively in a relationship, my passivity is not used as a weapon but as a tool to facilitate change in the few women I have dated. As well, it may well be that the reason why my relationships were short-lived is because my passivity is effective in meeting my needs.

For the whole purpose of role reversal is to help both men and women to see that not all men and women are traditionally bound to the myth that "all men are dominant and all women submissive."

YMMV

Are You Just Evil or a Do-Gooder?

As an ex-Clubvibes member, the minute I saw the article called "Anonymity Doesn't always Make You a Jerk. It Might Make You Kinder."

Though I admit replying with a reference to that website for social drinkers and their fans (usually their designated driver), it's the fact that Clubvibes had both fuckwads who were this close to being abusive and do-gooders that drove me away.

Why? Because I was turning Evil due to lack of sleep and the power that relative anonymity gives people.

However, what the Evil-doers and do-gooders hated was me switching between extremes. They thought it was normal to either be an extreme Evil-doer everyone hates or an extreme do-gooder who wants to reform a member who cries about her worst time at a club.

Either way, a person is lifé.

That is why I tried to be a moderate who may appear to be totally Evil but actually is a do-gooder.

Even though I had fans on that website, they wouldn't all stick up for me when the Evil-doers who were bullies started their abuse.

That's because most people who stand up to the bullies tend to escalate the situation by answering the bully's challenge instead of saying clearly that they will not put up with bullying on-line and do not answer the challenge.

Word to the wise: tell the owner of any web forum if a cyber-bully decides to take his sexual frustration out on you by tearing a piece off you on-line.

After hours of watching people trade insults on-line on Club Vibes, I'd only stick up for the underdog if s/he actually wasn't Evil. Usually the best way to determine if they are, is to offer private compliments. As a rule, Evil-doers usually tell you where to go and block you.

Just like Club Vibes, there are kids on GooglePlus who follow this same mentality of being more evil than Google. Thankfully, G+ allows me to report, mute and block them. The same goes for Twitter.

Otherwise, I'd be lumped in with the Evil-doers for a stupid comment that never was abusive but definitely passive-aggressive (usually a quote from a favorite TV show like Dr Who or the cult classic Firefly).

However, that would be a totally Evil way of reasoning because if you think long and hard about what I said, it's usually a constructive comment.

Anyway, I stopped logging into Club Vibes when I realized I'd become just as Evil as the Evil-doers who used multiple accounts to indulge in passive-aggressive forms of abuse as a form of social engineering.

There was no longer any purpose in using my sageb1 account to be a do-gooder, because I had been Evil to friends and enemies alike.

Why Fish is In

It's not just a Californian trend.

Salmon oil and Omega 3 oils in particular are useful in stabilizing bipolar disorder, an endocrine-based mental disorder associated with thyroid imbalance (usually indicated by low amounts of the thyroid hormone, thyroxine).

Thyroxine itself consists of iodine atoms attached to two linked chains of tyrosine, an amino acid associated with the neurotransmitters, dopamine and noradrenalin.

In essence, low thyroxine levels also reflect low levels of dopamine and noradrenalin, neurotransmitters associated with the behavior reward system and the "fight-or-flight" syndrome, respectively.

As a result of this chemical imbalance, people with bipolar disorder tend to suffer mood swings.

Such people fall into two classes: the positive and happy kind, and the negative and unhappy kind. There may be a third class with mixed symptoms (both depressed and manic at the same time).

The happy bipolars tend to be warm, caring, and loving; they also tend to "fall in love" quickly in relationships, and may treat both praise and abuse as attention, thus confusing both kinds as "love."

Indeed, happy bipolars are motherly if female, and fatherly if male.

The unhappy bipolars may exhibit additional psychosis with paranoid symptoms and also may keep all aspects of their illness a secret; they tend range from not trusting a person to being too trusting of a romantic interest, depending on the depth of their psychosis.

At times, unhappy bipolars tend to get aggressive with violent outbursts towards loved ones.

Mood stabilization is the first concern of a medical professional using lithium.

Fish oil is also a mood stabilizer, as evidenced by the demeanor of people who eat a lot of fish.

Indeed, bipolar symptoms are rare among the Japanese, who eat a lot of rare fish such as salmon, mackerel and tuna.
