I believe that this Polish food actually helped with my cold: kapusta or sauerkraut. In addition, rhodiola rosea got rid of the coughing because of its stimulant effect due to balancing of the neurotransmitters.
Now that I am on the following healthfoods products consisting of omega-3 fish capsules (anti-inflammatory & brain food), açai (az'eye) (anti-oxidants), rhodiola (augments my espresso habit), and vinpo-15 (used as sedative), I feel great.
In fact, I feel really GOOD! It's easier to get over the blues of a recent romantic breakup, and as for the cold i got last month, it's like a memory.
Though, I'm almost ready to give up women again... Ain't no pill in the world can replace 'em tho. Just sayin'... :p

Why Korean and Japanese are Similar to Each Other
The main reason why Japanese and Korean are similar is because of the ties between Baekche and Japan until the combined Silla and Tang Chinese forces defeat it circa 7th century CE.
Then all the Baekche royalty beat it to Japan, where their colony had grown into a distinct country through interaction with Okinawans (they kept the Koreans and proto Japanese at bay off Kyushu) and the Ainumushiri.
It was the Ainu whose language influenced and shaped Japanese vocabulary, because the people of Wa needed women to propagate the species.
So when a Japanese is taught he is "descended from the gods", it means he is heir to Baekche and mainly Korean ancestry.
After 700 CE, Korean had Chinese loanwords absorbed into their language due to Tang influence.

The Unscientificness of "Evidence" for Weight Loss Product
"Scientific Study # 1: One recent 8-week randomized, double-blind placebo study of 30 moderately obese individuals yielded some interesting results. The group was broken up into three groups of 10.
Group 1 received just the calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract. Group 3 received a placebo.
All individuals were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet; ingested the recommended test supplements 3 times a day, 30 to 60 minutes before meals; and completed their supervised walking 5 times per week.
The results: Group 1 lost, on average, 12.1 pounds. Group 2 lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 (just diet and exercise) lost, on average, 3.06 pounds. Obviously, these ingredients work together to increase fat oxidation and promote weight loss.
Scientific Study # 2: In this double blind study, 60 moderately obese individuals were assigned to the same three groups as study # 1. After 8 weeks, group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds. Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds. And the placebo group lost 3.53 pounds.
The overwhelming conclusion from both studies is that supplementation with the combination of hydroxycitric acid, niacin-bound chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre Extract can help people with weight management."
The cohort size (number of people in study) for both examples is 30 and 60 respectively, which is many times smaller than what science demands (200+). Anyone who believes this ad needs to work more hours to pay for a diet one could make with help from a dietician for far cheaper!!!
As well, there is no statistical breakdown of weight-loss which adds up to the total of the group. Rather, averages are used. Furthermore, no standard deviation for each group is given.
When you compare the groups that lost weight, the difference in loss ranges from 2.54 to 2.89 pounds, which is not a big difference. The only conclusion one can make is that placebo diets do not help you lose weight. Another conclusion that can be made from a quick reading of the ingredients in the diets mentioned is that regularity is a normal part of any diet, that is, regular excretion of faeces guarantees that you will lose weight, probably due to dehydration.
Overall, this part of the ad for the diet is unscientific.

RHODOLIA, NATURE'S ANTIDEPRESSANT AND ANXIOLYTIC
Rhodolia rosea is a health food product that I got introduced to by Googling, and reading everything about it online.
In my case, I've been using the product for the past six month at least. Always when I use it, and am suffering from the deleterious effects of insomnia (anxiety, depression, fatigue), my depression lifts and the attended anxiety vanishes.
Like a charm, it works! No fatigue, no blues!
It's gotta be a miracle plant. In combination with Allergy MD which has periwinkle extract, I feel on top of the world, with my memory intact, also.
Vinpocetine is the magic ingredient in the latter product, and is related to tryptophan and serotonin, in that it is nootropic and helps one's memory, which is good for learning.
So with both products taken, my anxiety level is low, and my depression is manageable.
Indeed, the Rhodiola force 100 beats antidepressants and tranquilizers! All for less than $20 for 30 vcaps.
Plus, I have had no side effects from taking this product at twice the dosage.
