Recently, a son of a famous film director went on the rampage in Santa Barbara and killed six people, consisting of three men stabbed to death, and a man and two women shot to death. Additionally he shot but only wounded about a dozen people, mostly women.
Once the feminists got wind of this, they called "misogynist serial killer" which is a stretch. I would prefer to call it another narcissistic personality suffering from affluenza who displaces his anger against women in a disgusting way.
Look, I am sorry for all those people who were murdered by him, but the body count is four men and two women, and the women were only killed because they walked in front of the sorority house where he aimed to kill a lot of women, according to his rant on Youtube.
So he's a misogynist for wishing death on women, but the body count indicates that he was successful in carrying out a misanthropic mass killing.
Yet his aim was so poor that he only wounded several more innocent bystanders who just happened to be in his line of fire. After a brief shootout with police, he shoots himself in the head, bringing the total body count to seven (five men and two women).
I don't think this is misogynist at all, despite the many women wounded. This is just some poor little rich guy with a narcissistic personality whose affluenza ended in bloodshed because of his ineptness at communicating with women.
I agree with the father of one victim: America needs tougher gun control laws. Indeed, this is a wake up call to America. A big database of firearms is necessary to prevent theft and illegal sales of firearms. It works in Canada.
After the recent flooding in southern Alberta a couple years ago, the RCMP were able to target homes with firearms and remove them for the safety of that community.
Could you imagine if that were possible in America today? We know gun control works, because Australia is proof of that. Despite the Monach University shooting, things were swiftly brought under control when the crazed gumman was taken down by brave survivors of his wild shooting. Few people died in that tragedy because of their brave actions.
In response, the gun control laws were toughened. If a new crazed killer were to try the same stunt, there are safeguards in place in Australia to prevent another tragedy.
Even so, because of a few NRA patriots in America, a tough gun control law will never be enacted due to "the right to bear arms." However this sacosanct right to bear arms requires a militia who obeys the laws and does not act to overthrow the government.
I cannot see the NRA forming such a militia. In fact, the survivalist faction of gun owners is not a militia. Rather, they are just hoping to survive an apocalypse of their imagination and tough it out.
Sadly though, the Sandy Hook massacre shows us the folly of that move. That tragedy might have been due to the perpetrator hating his mother enough to shoot her as she slept in bed, and going on a rampage at an elementary, mainly because children are somehow easier to murder in cold blood than the police.
In fact, the shooter shot himself in the head before the cops got to him. By the time they rushed in to save the day, a lot of children were dead, and so too the killer himself.
Returning to the Santa Barbar shooting, the warning signs were not heeded by police because the shooter was able to lie to police. He was even able to gloat about evading their surveillance by appearing as meek as a lamb.
I cannot fault the Santa Barbara police in this case. Even though they are easily duped by a sociopathic killer, they only acted in the best interest of society. It would be unfair of society scapegoat the police in this case. Perhaps they were poorly trained in this case. However that is open to speculation.
What cannot be speculated is that two women and four men lost their lives, three to a knife and three to a gun.
If this killer was truly misogynist, then he would have establish a death count by shooting people he wounded but he didn't. In my opinion, this is because he wasn't interested in killing people dead after six had died.
Had he actually been dedicated in ending people's lives, there would have been a bigger body count. However, it is hard to shoot effectively from a moving car with one hand on the wheel while wielding a handgun. The V-Tech massacre is proof of this.
In the case of the V-Tech shootings, Seung-ho Cho went back to shoot wounded students. The same thing happened in the Sandy Point massacre.
Because the Santa Barbara shooter did not ensure a higher body count, I can only assume that he actually didn't want to establish a high body count. Perhaps this is because after killing six people, he had had his fill of killing. Everything after that was merely him barely going through the motions.
Again, I must reiterate that I am sorry that the six people were killed, and many more people are suffering in the aftermath of this horrible tragedy.
In spite of this I know the US government will not toughen gun laws, because California has tough enough laws to restrict the sale of firearms as it is. Toughening gun laws will not prevent future tragedies of this type.
If America truly wants to prevent such mass shootings from occurring, then it will have to reform its public education system, which has made many a student feel special, so special that even thwarting the aim of a virgin to get laid has left to six people dead.
We need to stop making kids feel as though society owes them something just for existing. We also need to teach children the value of humility in a world which is currently labeling that as harmful to children's self esteem.
For as long as we continue with the practice of inculcating narcissism in children, only children with potential narcissistic personalities will grow up with the potential to become mass murderers, just for not getting what they want.
As long as we continue on the current path from kintergarden to high school, there shall be future mass shootings in America. Gun control will not prevent future tragedies from happening as long as the right to bear arms is held sacrosanct in American society.
This is why I believe the Santa Barbara killer is not a misogynist. All he is is what is wrong in American public schools today.

Seung-Hui's Madness
Born a quiet boy who said very little, few really knew Seung-hui Cho at all. His father was about 38 and his mother, 28, when he was born. His sister Sun is two years older than him.
His mother wished he spoke more, and would give anything to hear him talk and misbehave, rather than him be quiet and obedient.
But rather than expose the family to censure by seeking help from doctors, she prayed that Seung-hui would talk more.
So moving to America seemed like the next best thing.
However, it didn't turn out like that, because Seung-hui never said much as a kid. And because he was never examined by a child psychiatrist we don't know if he was mildly autistic or a rare case of childhood schizophrenia.
It is said that schizophrenia is prevalent when one parent is older than 32 when a child is born. This is because it is a genetic disease. However, there may be an environmental cofactor in that when a parent is more than 25 years older than a child, difficulty in communication increases. This may be because of a combination of cognitive delay and evolution of language i.e. children tend to use code words (slang) and use language in innovative ways, widening the generation gap.
Even in high school he was quiet, and was bullied for speaking English with an accent and having a deep voice. This is when Seung-hui's madness first appeared.
To try to get Seung out of his shell, his parents enrolled him at Virginia Tech.
In his junior year, Mr. Cho told his then-roommates that he had a girlfriend. Her name was Jelly. She was a supermodel who lived in outer space and traveled by spaceship, and she existed only in the dimension of his imagination.
When Andy Koch, one of his roommates, returned to their suite one day, Mr. Cho shooed him away. He told him Jelly was there. He said she called him Spanky. SpankyJelly became his instant-message screen name.
Cho had a fantasy girl. Definitely, a sign of schizophrenia.
His junior-year roommates mostly ignored him because he was so withdrawn. If he said something, it was weird. During Thanksgiving break, Mr. Koch recalled, Mr. Cho called him to report that he was vacationing in North Carolina with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president; Mr. Cho said he had grown up with him in Moscow.
Ok, now he has Mr. Putin as a friend, and lived in Moscow. Definitely not living in the real world.

V-Tech Massacre Preventable
Vtech was preventable, for Seung-hui Cho was actually a budding horror writer.
Had he been begged to work on his writing by his English teacher, a lot of innocent lives could have been saved.
Instead, his horror fiction was treated as indication of mental illness, and he followed that script until the fade to black.

Regarding mass media reports, the article in the NY Post did not fully remind Americans that not everyone wearing a turban is Muslim while the NY Times went into detail to show that Sikhs are not Muslims. NBC's report reflects breaking news before forensics experts analyze the crime scene.
According to mass media reports, in this late summer attack in Milwaukee, this misdirected bias attack developed a myth based on the NY Post article: a man dumped by his lover due to his penchant for violence, who in a fit of what was originally misogynist rage, decides to sacrifice the innocent lives of Sikhs, just because they wear turbans. In essence, he went psychotic and made the irrational decision to to channel all his hate against his ex-girlfriend and possibly his mother for not loving him enough to accept him as he is, warts and all, misdirecting it to what are innocent bystanders.
However, this may be a myth.
A closer look at his profile in the Wikipedia article on the Milwaukee shootings give a full background of a man who in his youth worked for the US Army as a missile systems repairman, and when that weapon was rendered obsolete, became a psychological warfare (PSYOPS) specialist until his self-medication with alcohol led to involuntary discharge in 1998. He then returned to Colorado, living in Littleton from 2000-2007. Overall this profile indicates that he comes from a broken home with his step-mother divorcing his father in 2000, leading to estrangement.
His later involvement in white supremacy tends to indicates replacement of parental guidance with a group known for its membership of marginalized white males where group cohesion is maintained by replacing State propaganda with a radical right ideology where empowerment is achieved through catharsis achieved through shame of being a white male and the resulting empowerment consisting of the white supremist ideology without a clearly articulated plan to achieve such supremacy. Without any rules about how to achieve said supremacy, various members of such groups exhibit impulsive acts of violence on their own initiative, often while under the influence of alcohol.
Perhaps hate filters out everything but the turban, despite the fact that most Muslims do not wear turbans anymore. Indeed, none of the 9-11 terrorists wore turbans, thus invalidating any racist's irrational logic that "all men who wear turbans are Muslim."
This logical fallacy is the result of hate propaganda which, by its nature appeals to emotions and thus is false.
Sikhs in turbans daily disprove they are militant by spending most of their time in their temples in prayer and feeding their hungry members.
However, this shooting shows that once again, like the Columbine mass school killing, the Ecole Polytech massacre, the Dawson College shooting, the VTech shooting and even the Newtown Shooting demonstrate that each one of them is a misdirected bias killing in which a target is chosen to direct rage originally experienced with each of the killer's original target of rage (be it father, mother or girlfriend).
Since it is not safe to kill your parents or someone you love, in such a killer's mind, killing a mass of people you hate is preferable to doing something positive to get over the fact that the people you love hurt you, like forgiving them and moving on.
This might also explain violence in general, too.
I propose a simple way to reduce such carnage in the future: institute in public and private schools emotional support for children of divorce and a harm control plan for alcohol and recreational drugs. As well, the culture of silence among today's youth requires the support of whistle-blowers.

Media Fabrication of War Not New
In 1898, Joseph Pulitzer's New York World and William Randolph Hearst's New York Journal were arguing for American intervention in Cuba. Hearst is reported to have dispatched a photographer to Cuba to photograph the coming war with Spain. When the photographer asked just what war that might be, Hearst is reported to have replied, "You take the photographs, and I will provide the war". Hearst was true to his word, as his newspaper published stories of great atrocities being committed against the Cuban people, most of which turned out to be complete fabrications.
On the night of February 15, 1898, the USS Maine, lying in Havana harbor in a show of US resolve to protect her interests, exploded violently. Captain Sigsbee, the commander of the Maine, urged that no assumptions of enemy attack be made until there was a full investigation of the cause of the explosion. For this, Captain Sigsbee was excoriated in the press for "refusing to see the obvious". The Atlantic Monthly declared flat out that to suppose the explosion to be anything other than a deliberate act by Spain was "completely at defiance of the laws of probability".

2001-2002: America and the UK collaborate to "prove" that weapons of mass destruction were being produced by Iraq, including fabricated reports, denials by investigators, a possible assassination of an investigator in the UK, and media hype.
By 2003, the Americans and British people were almost unanimous in their support of an invasion of Iraq. Anyone who tried to point out the economic reason of the war (oil) were dismissed as conspiracy crackpots.
In fact, the media had much to do with propagandizing for war in both Afghanistan and Iraq, much as they had done during the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
Even the Kosovo War was heavily propagandized, with Roma Gypsies being decimated by both the Kosovo militants, who were supported by young Albanian males from America, and the Serbians, who were supported by Communists, drug dealers and thugs.
Today, even recent mass murders are propagandized. The Cho Seung-hui case is a prime example. Very few people are picking up on the slogan "Ismail Ax" in red ink on Cho's arm.
Instead, they are playing up on the "weird and creepy loner" angle.
Another example is the recent Newtown shootings. It's my contention that Adam Lanza had behavior similar to "hikikomori" especially social isolation.
In light of revelations made about him, Lanza's actions remind me more of an angry child, in a fit of jealous rage, than a killer who coldly calculated the deaths of innocent children.
Even despite carrying two handguns and a semi-automatic rifle, he shot himself before using all his ammunition precisely because of same reasons Marc Lepine, Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Kimveer Gill, and Seung-hui Cho did so: to prevent the hell of a murder trial.
Just as the mass media fabricates the weird and creepy loner to explain these mass school killings, so too did it fabricate weapons of mass destruction (WMD) before invading Iraq.
In doing so, mass media is but a propaganda tool of the State.
