A Brief Inventory of My Cellphones (to be updated)

• LGE Nexus 5 - my main phone, Bell monthly, unlocked

As you can see, I have given phones to friends and roommates for their use. I plan to put my Bell prepaid on the Bell shared plan when the tab on it expires in February 2015. Even though the prepaid plan expires on July 15, 2015, it is cheaper to put it on a monthly plan. Since my debt to Rogers is pending (about $1500 left to be paid), the Fido prepaid plan cannot be changed to postpaid (monthly). Out of Use

• Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro - locked to Fido - not in use due to limitations of speed and memory. This phone will have most of its apps removed to improve response times.
  
• Motorola W510 - locked to Fido
  
• Nokia 500 - locked to Mobilicity. Waiting for Wind or Telus someone to buy them out. That isn't happening so I am still waiting. :)

I love my iPhone again!

So I've gotten my iphone apped up with Google Plus and YouTube.

After looking the specification in GSMarena specs I realized it works on both Bell and Fido when factory reset.

Neither Bell nor Fido will confirm this, with each side denying compatibility.

Also, when I switched to the Swype keyboard, words written no longer get an extra space!

Update on my Cell Phone Bills

Fido claims I only owe them $51. However, the last email I got said that my debt is actually $285.
However, it's fifty-one dollars. It took 11 minutes to confirm.

Bell is confirmed $110 by Marc 22 and $15 by March 31. Time taken to confirm: 6 minutes

Virgin is confirmed $85 by March 31. Time taken to confirm: 12 minutes.

All my active accounts with cell phone providers have been updated accordingly.

As for the outstanding debts to Fido and Rogers, I'm anticipating partial payments by the end of the third quarter but cannot confirm how much that I'll be paying by September 6.

Therefore I'll be call blocking them until then.

Update on my Debt to Cellphone Provider Rogers and subsidiary FIdo

I am so little I owe Rogers a total of $4000. The debt collector letters don't make me go neurotic anymore because if they did their homework, they know they can't threaten to ruin my credit cos I've done that to myself.

In the last letter received, I notice they added $33 dollars to what I owe, which is "interest".

If I had $1000-1500 on hand, then they'd take it because that's more than what they paid for the accounts they received.

If Rogers and Fido had kept these debts with them, then they could have made it look like two assets.

I also know that I can still send money to my Fido and Rogers accounts via electronic banking and bypass collections.

Mobilicity Has Cheapest Data Plans!

Rogers Communications cannot match Sprint's $30 unlimited, similar to Chatr at $45 (capped at 100 MB) and especially WIND's $35 unlimited (capped at 10GB) and Mobilicity's $45 ($25 plan + $20 Premium Data capped at 20 GB).

An unlocked 3-SIM phone for the Chat-Fido-Rogers network with an app to change wap, internet, and mms/sms information would be a best buy overall, though two of the carriers (Fido and Rogers) would have 3G (GPRS and EDGE), 3G+ (UTMS, HSDA), and 4G (HSDPA, LTE) while Chatr lacks HSDPA and LTE.

In contrast an unlocked smartphone capable of handling the bands (Nokia 500) can be used on Mobilicity but only for Metro Vancouver coverage - ditto for Wind.

It might take some work to get the Nokia 500 to use with Bell Canada and Virgin Mobile Canada or TELUS and Koodo Mobile, as GSM and EDGE may not be available but UTMS may. It is doubtful HSDA/HDSPA or LTE would work since the Bell/Virgin network uses a different frequency from the Chatr-Fido-Rogers network, and the Koodo/Telus network may use a different quad/5-band frequency setting.

Sadly though, people have it hard setting up their email on a smartphone asitis. A lot of the owners me age barely play songs or watch videos onit.

Bills, bills, bills!!!

Usually I don't answer my calls because I dunno which number might be Microcell drones harrassing me for being late on payments for my Fido account. Like the collections agents Telus use, Microcell collections agents are mean: if you answer their call, then you unwittingly agreed to cutting off your service even if you said: "I'm paying $40 next Monday, and all subsequent Mondays", but the bill is $3764.65!! Oh well, Fido as well as Koodo don't check credit bureau records for aliases. They'll assume Stephen is the son of {mymiddlename}.
