Natural highs occur all the time, be it from exercise like jogging or even viewing art.
I am at this point in my meditation where even taking photos and posting them on GooglePlus gives me a brief high, which is safer than drugs but even more addicting due to the fact that nobody has ever died from taking pictures and posting them on-line.
Getting high requires no drugs, just the ability to breath deeply and hold it for 15 seconds and report for 15 minutes a day. To get good at it, read the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Also, invest in a samatha-vipassana meditation retreat when you can afford it. It beats going to the bar on Friday and waking up to a hangover Sunday.
Of course, that is the hard way of achieving a natural high. However, it will prepare your mind for the easy way of chanting.
For the easy method is to chant along with those quaint chants on YouTube with the dharani of the Buddhas when sober. In my case, I chant the Nembutsu for all sentient beings. It's called Yuzu Nembutsu.
As well there is the chant associated with the Lotus Sutra and promoted by Nichiren (Namyo rengé kyo)
Why, last night, I had to stop chanting because it made me sleepy, which is actually a natural high too.
For all getting high means is changing consciousness. However, I recommend chanting while sober.
For drugs are a dangerous shortcuts for potentially suicidal people. Like the young people I follow on twitter always tweet after someone tweets their bad trip, "Mm-mm. Drugs are bad."
Inspired by the Journey to the West, Gandhara is devoted to both Western and Eastern Truth.
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ - Hail the Lord whose name eliminates spiritual darkness.
Om Ganeshaya Namaha (ॐ गणेशाय नमः) - Homage to Ganesha.
Unconditional love tranquilizes the mind, and thus conquers all.

Well, April was a Flop in Blogger income
After a small amount of income happening last fall and winter, the spring brought me the realization that I cannot be happy and make money online as it means spending too much time indoors. My happy times are when I'm out and about.
It makes me doubt that people successful at this are sitting on their asses making money. They must have a staff or are super organized.
Also, it appears that my "spamming" of Blogspot articles to Google Plus has led to changes that makes it difficult to maintain a high output to compensate for the brevity of my articles.
I discovered yesterday that I would have to work 24/7 to maintain more than $1 a month of income.
As for Youtube posts, I would have to post no less than 5 posts a day. However, it cannot all be music videos as it takes 2-4 hours per video to create the song and transform pictures into video. It would be easier to create a vlog and discuss a topic but that demands a script.
I'd be better off trying to intentionally make money from blog and youtube posts by increasing production but not end up losing sleep — something like a 9-5 on-line existence.
I also need new material and have tried to write about topics other than Buddhism to see what the Google Plus fans want.
Thanks for your support!
OK, I just realized that twitter solves the spamming issue by turning on the feature that tweets ever G+ I make...

I love my iPhone again!
So I've gotten my iphone apped up with Google Plus and YouTube.
After looking the specification in GSMarena specs I realized it works on both Bell and Fido when factory reset.
Neither Bell nor Fido will confirm this, with each side denying compatibility.
Also, when I switched to the Swype keyboard, words written no longer get an extra space!

Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor Rocks!
Here's my Pachelbel's Canon playlist. In both this blog post and the playlist's description, I'll be describing each video. However, this post will give the background details about the Canon on Youtube.
My thanks to Google for acquiring Youtube as well as to the posters of the videos.
Anyways, on with the show...
Introduction: It Began With Canon Rock
Ever since I heard Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor on Youtube, I've been wondering if it has been used in popular music.
Back in 2010 on Youtube, the rock version of the Canon was being played by guitarists of all stripes. Originally in 2007, I believe Jerryc (funtwo) had his Canon Rock rendition to another site, which later was posted to Youtube.
Today, after finding a song called Canon Dance on my cache of favorite music files, I Google'd "Pachelbel's Canon", and found Ray Hutching's website which has everything to do with Pachelbel's Canon.
On it, he referred to Pet Shop Boys' song Go West.
So I checked out the song on Youtube.
After listening to Go West, I realized that Pet Song Boys not only uses the Canon in the intro, but also uses variations of it in the main part of the song, and at the end during the outro.
Finest Classical Renditions of Pachelbel's Canon
One of the renditions of the original classical music is by Herbert Von Karajan and The Berlin Philharmonic which was first played in 1969,
After listening to it, I found the song to be peaceful and inspirational.
Movies and Ads containing Pachelbel's Canon
In popular culture, this song has also found its way into Father of the Bride — "Canon in D For Strings And Continuo" by Ettore Stratta & the Baroque Chamber Orchestra. Personally I find it as brilliant as the Karajan version.
At the beginning of Ordinary People, a hymn based on Pachelbel's Canon is sung by a choir.
However, I especially love the humor in the Winfield Farms ad.
Other Modern Variations of Pachelbel's Canon
In addition to Pet Shop Boys' version, there's a new modern pop-rock variation called Rockelbel's Canon (Pachelbel's Canon in D) with 4 cellos in it by ThePianoGuys.
Pachelbel's Canon also makes up the whole of Lullaby on Bond's Classified album. Bond consists of four women who play stringed instruments. From what I can tell, it's a gimmick tied to the new Bond movie.
One of the most unique variations of the Canon is Christylez Bacon's It's The Beatbox, Baroque Style.
Conclusion: Pachelbel's Canon on Youtube
On Youtube, by searching for "Pachelbel's Canon" will give many more originals and variations of the music. However, my love for it was renewed by Matt Raich's original guitar solo of Canon Rock.
Of course, this is but a small portion of all the variations of Pachelbel's Canon. Once again, thanks to Google, Youtube and the video posters, and finally to you, the gentle reader.

Canada Blocks GooglePlus Notifications
Since I've been a member of Google Plus, Canada is blocked from receiving Google+ updates via mobile text messaging due to Canada having issues with how Google uses that information. However, Google has already shown how transparent it is by appearing before Ottawa's privacy commission
Though Canada has a bigger issues with Twitter for not responding to Canada demand for transparency. Yet Canada is not blocked from receiving tweets from Twitter.
That's because tweets market a brand in 140 characters or less.
GooglePlus may have a bigger buffer area for marketing a channel be it Blogspot or Youtube.

TYVM, Gentle Readers!!!!!!
It's been a couple months and hits to my blog have increased tremendously.
A month ago, I decided to monetize my youtube account, too.
Though the income has been modest ($1.81 for gandhara and 72 cents for youtube), you'll hear no complaints from me.
So almost daily I thank Google for their ad service.
Please don't get paranoid over the picture accompanying this blog entry, gentle readers.
Most of the statistics do not retain personal information about your choice of OS.
That cannot be done by Google. They do not have that mentality like cyber-criminals do.
I heartily endorse Google for their resistance to corruption by net-bot farms and hacking by foreign interests. Most of the information leaked was perhaps because one Windows computer was pwn'd, due to lack of security on that PC. I bet it was freshly installed too.
So thanks to the internets. You've been good to me and to Google!!!

Comments on my Blog after Hooking It Up to Google
It's amazing how many hits on my blog have increased since making my blog send posts to Google+.
As well the number of hits to my blog has increased. More importantly the money Google is paying me has increased to a total over$2.50 if you include my monetized youtube.
Though, after doing the math, it take 8 years for me to amass $100.
Sigh... If I was female with big boobs, then I would be getting cheques monthly.
Man! Letting those kids on-line really corrupted the Internet.

Laughter The Strongest Medicine on the Planet (humor)
"Laughter is one of the strongest medicines on the planet... If it's strong enough to kill an orgasm, surely it's strong enough to kill cancer." -- Lotus Weinstock
This is unauthorized memorial and remembrance dedicated to Lotus. It is based on my experiences watching two videos on Youtube, the first by Lotus and the second by her daughter, Lili, as well as reading Rob Weide's eulogy of her at his Duck Production website.
Fame for a comedian is like a degree to a doctor," Lotus would say. "You can't practice without it."
As a humorist, Lotus has the funny yet graceful humor, which tickles my funny bone. Her most funniest shtick was "How to Use Body Signals a Man Can't Resist". It was so funny that it endeared me to her.
As a humanist, she was willing to help out complete strangers, often homeless people, some of whom stole from her due to their own issues. Asked when she would stop to helping people who might steal from her, Lotus replied, "Until they don't need to steal anymore."
Later in life, Lotus remarked, "I used to want to save the world. Now I just want to leave the room with some dignity." Indeed, she lived in dignity, and her comedy acts treated others with dignity.
When a well-meaning deranged fan of hers wrote a threatening letter to Joan Rivers in response to Rivers declining to write a forward for Lotus' biography, only to have a bumbling private investigator morph her friend into a "drugged-out roommate" and incriminate her, just so Joan was getting her money's worth.
In actuality, Lotus was innocent of any wrong-doing and her friend was anything but a drug user.
Thanks, Lotus, your love lives on in the many lives you touched, through your caring towards strangers living in abject conditions, and through your comedy acts courtesy of Youtube.
"When I get to heaven's gate
and my life is reviewed,
I know that my saving grace
will be the love I have for you."

Dieses Leben / This Life
Deutsche lyrics:
Chorus
English lyrics:
I am cold - my ways are empty
this night is grey and cold and heavily
it holds me firm
and gives me no more
I am imprisoned
I do not awake
and the last light soon goes out
I see myself falling
but I do not give up
Chorus
Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
Take to me the strength
take to me the heart
take to me all hope
and all the pain
from my hand
and it gives no more
which is to be
where am I
where are my large heroes
even if we do not go
I know not where
Chorus
Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I do not know where
even if it goes
if it goes to
Because I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world
I love this life
I love the moment into which one falls
I love this life
and I love this day
and I love this world

How not to take Salvia
So, there you have it. Everything became a joke for this lady.
For most guys, they get so stoned and sometimes go catatonic.
For the record, the tea extraction of salvia divinorum has no hallucinogenic effect, and is not dangerous.
It really goes great with chinese green tea.
