If Justin Bieber is the angel of music, as depicted in his act, then he has stolen it from Lucifer.
This implies that Justin Bieber may be Pentecostal in his beliefs, since they have redeemed a lot of previously satanic practices, including speaking in tongues, and also Ouija boards.
However, most Christians tend to have disbelief in the Oneness of God, having fallen to the blasphemy that the Christ is God. A few of them even profess an unhealthy fear of the devil. Most Christians would be better off fearing only God.
Sadly though, the unhealthy practice of deeming ungodliness as satanic is prevalent among Christians, to the point where they practice a good versus evil dichotomy by equally fearing both God and Satan.
How foolish! No wonder a lot of Muslims have stated Christians will spend the afterlife before the Fire.
It's no coincidence that Bieber comes to the stage as the angel of music after admitting to be a Christian and praying before each act.
According to belief, Lucifer was the ministry of music and the most beautiful and “perfect” of all the angels before becoming jealous of God’s power, leaving God with no other choice than to throw him out of heaven.
Justin Bieber cashes in on this symbolism by having a bunch of speakers as "wings" as he swoops down to the stage. It is like he took back from the devil what is rightly God's.
So, in a metaphorical sense, Justin Bieber is the angel of music reborn.
Let us hope this angel can clean his wings of his past sins and redeem himself soon.

The New Goddess of METAL in Japan (satire)
Warning: some of this article will be in Japanese and Romaji. If this annoys you, then why did you click on the link? :) Seriously though, any error in the translation is due to me not being able to read Japanese at all. Kudos to Google Translate.
Today I have discovered the new goddess of 'METAL' in Japan. Her name is Nakamoto Suzuka, and she is in a girl group called BABYMETAL. According to her, BABYMETAL refers to a new kind of metal, which is when metal meets girl group idol.
Consisting of Suzuka and two other members, BABYMETAL started in 2011 and by 2013, developed quite a following in Asia. They have a fan club in Indonesia. There are also fans in America, Europe and Brazil.
This year, their album is coming out on February 26, 2014. However, I am uncertain if I can afford it since I expect it to be ordered from Japan and the 3000 yen price could easily become $40 after import fees and dealer markup.
Out of the thirteen songs on the album, these are the songs I like: Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Absolutely No Bullying), Catch Me If You Can, Doki Doki Morning, Headbanger!!, and Megitsune (Female Fox).
Absolutely No Bullying is obviously an anti-bullying song. This song suggests that BABYMETAL is a children's version of metal music. That will become more obvious when you listen to them on Youtube. The song itself starts off with a melancholic melody. Then the metal riff begins and finally Suzuka begins to sing about bullying, its effect on friends, and the psychic scars it leaves behind. Near the end of the song, she promises to protect her friends who have been affect by bullying. When a person becomes an adult, she will eventually have to say good-bye to such things. I'm sure the English translation should clear anything up about this song.
As for the phrase, "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" (pronounce ee-gee-meh, dah-meh, Zeh-tie), ijime implies teasing, which is the mild form of the mistreatment a child suffers during bullying. Dame actually means "bad", while zettai means "absolutely" or "unconditional". Thus a rough translation of the phrase is "absolutely bad teasing" or "absolutely no bullying".
Catch Me If You Can appears to be a follow up to Ijime, Dame, Zettai. It starts off slowly for a few bars and goes into a metal riff. The girls say 1, 2, 3 and their song begins. The impression I get is of children the hide or seek game. An old guy is referenced in the song. In fact two children' games are mentioned.
Doki Doki Morning is full of girl group idol charm, metal style. It's about getting up in the morning, a day at school and a girls-only party. However, the song is also about seeing how far one can go, stretching the rules. It's about what the youths want right now. Life when young is very fast-paced.
Headbanger!! is a classic headbanging song. In Japan, when you order this song, you get a neck brace to help teach you how to headbang without hurting your neck. According to my observations of headbanging, it involves a lot of violent bowing and absolutely no nodding of the head at all, lest you get a neck sprain. Having said that, this song has a short rendition of a traditional Japanese song but most of it is BABYMETAL.
Finally, Megitsune seems a puzzle to me, so I looked up the word and it translates as "female fox". I believe it references the magical fox spirit known as "kitsune." The Japanese word "me" means "female". Overall, these lyrics might appear sexist to a feminist. However, this is supposed to be a fun song when sung by a young woman, not an ode to chauvinism. It's a song about growing up from girl to young woman. However, the literal meaning is that BABYMETAL have become like the miko of Shinto, who dance as invitation to the fox spirit to inhabit the dancer(s). Though, this is a figurative explanation given in the reference.
Overall, these are my five favorite BABYMETAL songs. They are also five reasons why I am a fan of Nakamoto Suzuka.

The Angels That Understand (Their Place in A Man's World) (Satire)
In 2003 tATu came out to the world by kissing after singing "All the Things She Said."
This video (above) was a promo for reality show "t.A.T.u. Under The Heaven" which came out in 2008.
After twelve years of existence, which is a long time for two young teenagers named Julian Volkova and Lena Katina, they grew up working as the girl group since 1999 and it went on hiatus in 2011.
However, the sexism inherent in Russian society is also contained in this short clip from six years ago.
Here is how the reality show "t.A.T.u. Under the Heaven" was introduced to the world:
Лучшее качество девочек — покорность.
Девочкам запрещается проявлять физическую силу.
Они не имеют права заниматься боевыми искусствами и брать в руки оружие.
Когда девочек бьют, они не должны стонать и жаловаться на боль.
The best quality in girls is obedience.
Girls are forbidden from expressing physical strength.
They do not have the right to engage in martial arts or hold weapons.
When girls are beaten they must not make any noise or complain about the pain.
It is apparent that this reality show was the last chance to grab more fame from controversy before moving on.
Back in 2004, both Julia and Lena came out and said they were coached by their manager to pretend to be lesbian to appeal to the world.
Given the power and influence of the Russian Orthodox Church, it is doubtful they were ever lesbian. This was a gimmick by their manager using the forbidden to appeal both domestically and globally. Both women are heterosexual, though Julia is consider to be bisexual due to her admission that she "still likes boys and girls".
When t.A.T.u was disbanded in 2011 with the previous seven years under scrutiny, including their proposed "Show Me Love" tour in the UK which canceled due to poor ticket sales in 2002, both women launched solo careers. It turned out the poor tickets sales was due to a parental advisory based on the belief that the girls' sexual image were inappropriate.
Having gone solo since 2008, Julia Volkova created her genre Sex Rock, and both Lena and her were based in LA for a bit but often return to Russia for tATu gigs and promos for their brands. Later Julia based herself in Moscow.
After breaking up Lena has admitted going to a shrink to recover from the 12 years of performing in tATu. I can't blame her.
In 2012 Lena moved to LA to reboot her career.
After Lena was being managed by Tristam Buckley from 2012 to 2013, the Tatu management team returned. Buckley helped reboot Lena's solo career which had gone down the tubes due to mismanagement in the year since t.A.T.u officially went into hiatus in 2011.
In 2013 Buckley sued for his share of the t.A.T.u. pie.
As of now, the new t.A.T.u, which began in December 2012, consists of small concerts they do and also product endorsement. However, the concerts they do ares not the biggest part of their lives due to being solo artists.
They also have their own lives to live. Julia has two kids from two relationships and converted to Islam because her second boyfriend is a Persian-Russian businessman, and Lena just got married in 2013 to a Russian musician.
Because the old t.A.T.u. concerts were a part of grueling tours, I can certainly understand why they are reluctant to dedicate all of their time to t.A.T.u.
Their solo careers have only begun.
As far as genre goes, Julia does Europop, Pop and Rock. Lena is definitely Rock.
However, these two angels of tATu will never be forgotten. These angels that understood their place in a man's world live on.
After Putin approved the anti-gay law, which forbids the practice of homosexuality in public, Rolling Stones Russia interviewed Lena Katina. During the interview they shared three bottles of wine. Lena jokingly admits to being an alcoholic. However, drinking is a big part of Russian culture along with big parties during birthdays and holidays, even on weekends.
Lena admits to not being particularly interested in politics back in Moscow, and loves the fact that American television filters out most of the "demonstrations, arrests, fights with the Special Purpose Mobile Unit" happening back home.
While she was not in touch with Julia after she moved back to Moscow almost two years before this interview, she's fine with that. As well, she holds no grudge against Ivan, the man who created t.A.T.u. and their fey-gay persona while performing.
Even though the lesbianism was all an act, I got the feeling after reading the interview, that to them, t.A.T.u was just as much performance art as it was a musical act.
Indeed, I am pretty sure it is the same with Pussy Riot, who may have inspired Putin to sign the anti-gay law due to the fact that none of the members of that musical act had boyfriends because they were ardent feminists too busy with their political performance art. It would be interesting for Rolling Stones Russia to interview Pussy Riot and ask them if t.A.T.u. inspired them in some way, too.
When asked if she and Julia would return to t.A.T.u., Lena denied it, saying that both she and Julia are very much into their solo careers. However, she never flat out said "Never."
As well, she described how Ivan had once took them to a drug den after the fame had gone to his head. Nothing like this shocked Lena Katina, who claims Ivan considered her to be the "conscience" of t.A.T.u. Such goings-on merely made her a little sad. In fact, she once fantasized becoming a famous psychotherapist who would counsel drug addicts for a living.
Well, after her beauty fades in her 40s and she becomes another dumpy babushka, Lena Katina the music star could become Elena Katina the psychotherapist in a world-famous rehab clinic for celebrities who want to kick their drugs habits.

My Next Music Album (satire)
In this article, I am going to write about the creation of my next music album. With the help of two Android apps on my Nexus 4 smartphone and four Linux programs on my PC, a song is created using two source audio tracks derived from two video files created by one of the apps.
Please note that I have used javascript code to hide and show text depending on the familiarity of my followers with the Android apps and Linux programs mentioned in the rest of this article.
None of the links in the main text of this article will crash your computer and the link at the very end of the references points to the author of the code.
My reason for calling this article satire is that I could have written it without hiding any text at all. Then it would have only made sense to a fellow Linux hobbyist who also owns a smartphone with the same specifications as a Nexus 4, and wants to use the Android apps and Linux programs mentioned in the main text to create song too.
Currently I am using my smartphone to create my next album, Sound of Colors Remixes with the help of the Android app, Color Sounds.
Using the Camera option of Color Sounds, I can create two Flash videos in which the video stream is used to create the audio stream of each video.
However, the larger size of the video file would result in long wait times for the resulting audio file.
Therefore it is recommended to create video files of no longer than a minute at the most. Then convert to audio files, and use them to create your songs.

Currently I am using my smartphone to create my next album, Sound of Colors Remixes with the help of the Android app, Color Sounds.
Using the Camera option of Color Sounds, I can create two Flash videos in which the video stream is used to create the audio stream of each video.
Once the videos are made, they are transferred to my PC using Bluetooth.
The following instructions assumes familiarity with Linux and with Blueman applet and familiarity with Nautilus and the Android app Color Sounds. It also assumes the user has Bluetooth File Transfer app on his Android phone and familiarity with using Blueman to pair and trust a phone with his PC.
For Bluetooth connectivity, my phone is paired with and trusted by my PC.
On my phone (a Nexus 4) I use the Bluetooth File Transfer app to turn on Bluetooth
On the PC, I use the Blueman applet to mount the phone's storage folder and use the file manager Nautilus.
After left clicking on the Blueman applet on the PC to bring up the Bluetooth Device window, I then highlight my smartphone and left clicking on the Browse button to access the smartphone.
(The alternative to the previous action is to right click on the Blueman applet on the PC to bring up the menu and left clicking on the Browse Files on Device option.)
After the previous action, the Nautilus window will appear showing storage folder contents on the phone labelled as a mount with the name of the Bluetooth identity of the phone e.g. Nexus4.
In the "Color Sounds" folder are the two video files.
Each file is named in the format of "camera_YYYYNNNN_HHMMSS.flv" where YYYY is the four-digit number corresponding to the year (e.g. 2014), NNNN is the session number which may be from 0001 to 9999 (e.g. 0004), and HHMMSS is the time from 00000 to 235959 (e.g. 190824). E.g. camera_20140004_190824.
Both files are cut from the "Color Sounds" folder on the phone and pasted into an appropriate subdirectory (e.g. nexus4/color_sounds) in the "video" folder of the user's home directory (e.g. ~/video) on the Linux PC.
After transferring both files from the phone to the PC, unmount the phone's storage folder and disconnect the phone using the Blueman applet.
Bluetooth is disconnected by accessing the Bluetooth Devices window which may still be on the desktop. If not, then right click on the Blueman applet to bring up the menu and left clicking on "Devices...".
At the top of the Bluetooth Devices window that appears is a tool list labelled Adapter, Device, View and Help. Left-click on Device:Disconnect.

With the stereo track just created, select all of the track by left clicking on the left information area of the track.
Mark and copy the whole track. Then paste the copy at the end of the current track.
Repeat the previous two instructions until you obtain a track greater than three minutes and less than six minutes.
Using the audio plugins Stereo Reverb, adjust Stereo Reverb for a large room, and click on OK button to confirm. Normalize the track. Check sound quality.
Use the Echo Delay Line or Feedback Delay Line as needed and click on OK button to confirm. Normalize the track. Check sound quality.
While the sound quality is not to your tastes do the following three steps until Step 4 is met:
1) Use Equalize set to RIAA. Click on OK button to confirm
2) Use C * Scape: Stereo delay & filters. Set bpm (beats per minute) to either 124.5 or 144.5 - I would suggest 144.5 for a fast rhythm. Set divider to 2, 3 or 4. I suggest 4. Set feedback to 0.75, dry to 0.25 and leave blend at 0.75 - note that you may change these settings according to your tastes. Click on OK button to confirm.
3) Normalize the track and check sound quality.
4) If the sound quality of the whole track is to your liking, then save the song to your album wherever on your disk you keep your new album and songs.

It is feasible to use Color Sounds on your smartphone to create a three to six minute movie if you have the room on your smartphone.
Then you could just convert the videos made to an MP3 audio file and use that as the source audio stream for your song.Just be aware that a 18 second video is approximately 33 megabytes (MB) long while a 34 second video is approximately 43 MB and a 40 second video is approximately 52 MB.
So total file size may vary from 1.26 to 1.83 times the time length, depending on the audio and video streams.
This implies that a three minute (180 second) video could vary from 227 MB to 330 MB in size or perhaps larger.

The Power of Dharma Practice
I'm a Buddhist, and have the power called Dharma practice consisting of the skillful means of Buddha Remembrance and meditation, both of which aid mindful practice.
It has the potential to burn away evil karma, and accumulate merit through good thoughts and deeds.
As a True Pure Land School (Jodo Shinshu) Buddhist, the skillful means called Buddha Remembrance (Buddha Recitation) consists of 7, 21 or 49 recitations of Amida Buddha's name (Namu Amida Butsu).
Known as the Nembutsu, it has a special name only within Jodo Shinshu circle as the Name-that-calls. For when a Pure Land devotee calls out Amida's name, it is Amida calling through her.
When I was young, I went to the Fraser Valley Buddhist temple to learn about our faith. However, as a child I was prone to taking wring action that built up evil karma.
In Buddhism, evil karma is defined as calculated actions that serve the self, and through ignorant craving, leads to the ego controlling the mind.
It wasn't until over 20 years ago, that I first started meditating.
Though, it's been only about a month since I started reading Thich Thien Tâm's book Buddha of Wisdom and Faith, and was moved to commit myself to Chinese Pure Land School and using my education as a True Pure Land School student.
Even though a few Buddhist claim that it isn't wise to study outside of Pure Land tradition, I have studied Vajrayana but only have an intellectual grasp of it. It's only been very recently that I have discovered that tantra can be practiced by one person without delving into the intimacies of tantrism.
Additionally, to help empower the mindful part of my Dharma practice, I also listen to Buddhist chants and dharanis, along with Hindu Veerashaivist chants.
My Buddhist chants and dharani playlist consists of:
And just for variety, while not distinctly Buddhist, I listen to the Yoshida Brother's Ibuki and to Yoshida Kiyoshi's Rising Sun, since I find music using the three-stringed shamisen to be pleasing to the ear, and very invigorating.
As well, I also have started a music hobby in which I remix music of the Experimental genre. After creating each of my songs, I take pictures to compile into a video to be used with that particular song. Often though, the video portion does not match the music.
Currently I am thankful to Thich Thien Tâm for writing Buddhism of Wisdom and Faith, which has inspired me to recommit to my Buddhist faith. As a result of reading his book, I have a strong faith in the Primal Vow, and sincerely believe in Amida Buddha's Pure Land of Bliss.

Adapting Dubstep Like Adapting Tai Chi: Learn it and Make it Your Own
I'm trying to teach myself dubstep (the dance moves, not remixing as dubstep).
I heard the Adele Set Fire to Everything rmix by skrillex and he failed on it. So sometimes it works, but not always.
Anyway, I try to mix up whatever I teach myself, and so it may be all wrong to other people.
I'm not interested in learning dubstep the right way, but in adapting it to my physiology. After I did it to tai chi, I made it my own.
Dubstep however appears to require footware that may promote self injury as you need a sole that does not "stick" to the surface it's on.
I can fake dubstep in socks but not in boots with "tracks".
Which means I'll need to invest in used bowling shoes as they allow one's feet to slide when needed.
Sorry for not adding a video to this blog entry, but i'm still looking for a tripod adapter for my smartphone.

Why I Create Electronic Music
It's less noisy than playing an instrument.
Though I've practiced playing guitar (classical) as a hobby for about 15 years, I'd decided as part of self-therapy to teach myself to produce electronic music.
It's really not for everyone though, because it takes dedication, open-mindedness, patience, and willingness to learn.
When I take regular breaks from sitting in front of my computer, I'm able to compose a song without a problem.

Attention: Music Lovers, Free Yourself
Devotion to music does not end by just listening to and sharing it.
Why not go beyond that to enrich your life?
Why don't you become a creator of music i.e. remix your own dubs of mp3 like the members on mix.dj do?
You could use your leisure hours to learn to be a DJ artist.
You could even make the plunge into creating your own songs from scratch using free software to do so on a free operating system called Linux, thus freeing you from having Windows holding your hand for a hefty price, including having to opt for privacy & security by paying more money to Microsoft-certified computer consultants.
Being devoted to music certaintly does not end with listening to and sharing it, for going beyond that most certainly will enrich your life and your retirement fund.
The choice is yours to make.

Dance and Music as Therapy
Unrest of the body through restless motion; unrest of the mind, through anxiety: both are signs of behavioral and mental negativities, which are part of the human condition.
Yet dance trains the body to use that unrest expressively, and music soothes the savage breast, replacing such negativities with calm serenity to make all agitation cease.
Thus, it makes sense to use both dance and music to soothe myself, both alone and in mixed company.
At my age, though, I find that there are social constraints placed on me to practice both in the privacy of my home or in the company of trusted friends.

Buddhism in Music
It didn't take me any time to find Buddhist traditional and pop music online.
There's even jazz and rock flavours spiced up with Buddhist themes.
Duncan Sheik's Foreshadowing is very subtle and contemporary, while Maxi Jazz's Mass Destruction implicates racism as the true weapon of mass destruction.
But the first four songs prepare the seeker for the rest of the songs in this playlist.
Thanks, Liam Keane. Apologies for snarfing your sound playlist file... <^_^;
