Yemen: Saudi-led Attack an Ideological Debacle
Since March of 2015, Saudi Arabia and its allies have been bombing Houthi forces in Yemen. Their intent was to reinstall a democratically elected President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi.
However, the idea was bad from the beginning and despite supplying logistics and intelligence, the US was not an active player in the 9-state Arab coalition.
Overall, the consensus is that the Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen have killed mostly women and children. Political interference from Saudi Arabia has led to the failed Geneva peace talks, recently concluded on June 19, 2015.
However, the important thing to remember is that the US only provides logistics and intelligence to the coalition of 9 Arab states involved in one of the biggest humanitarian crises since the mainstream media labeled the 2011 Libya Civil War a humanitarian crisis.
Libya gives us an idea of the aftermath of that foreign policy. However it is a unique situation and different from the situation in Syria and Yemen, both of which have the perceived ideological threat of Iran and Hezbollah to Saudi Arabian government hegemony.
Yet the situation in Syria is different from Libya because the Assad government is also perceived as an economic threat. Four years after Arab Spring, Syria still has a functioning government.
According to what I have read online about the Yemen attack, the Saudi-led coalition attacked Yemen while implementing Riyadh's foreign policy in the Middle East. Its strategy is to attack a perceived threat, and to let other nations handle the fallout once the enemy turns out to be a formidable opponent.
Meanwhile it continues a propaganda campaign against the enemy and sends in militants loyal to Riyadh to terrorize the threat. When peace talks occur, the Saudi Arabian government will use its influence to frustrate a peace deal.
However, no foreign policy analyst or diplomat in the West is buying the idea that Iran and Hezbollah are as equal a threat as the Islamic State.
Here are recent events of note for June 2015:
According to a news report from Tehran as of June 9, 2015, Saudi Arabia is deploying pro Hadi extremists near border areas with Yemen. These extremists are purportedly in the guise of Bahraini soldiers. Additionally, the Saudi government is bribing Najran sheikhs to dissuade support for Yemeni forces.
On June 14, the Tehran source cites a UAE news website that Saudi Arabia is facing few options in Yemen which shall force them to accept Ansarullah's rule over Sana'a, the capitol of Yemen. Ansarullah is the Shiite movement which overthrew the Saudi-backed Yemen government of President Hadi, who was ousted out of power back in January 2015.
Recently on June 19, Press TV reported that Yemen's Ansarullah — aka the Houthis — said that its demands were not met in Geneva peace talks, due to interference by Saudi Arabia.
What good is peace talks when Saudi Arabia runs interference to prevent Ansarullah from getting what it wants from the peace deal, all because it fears Iran's influence in Yemen? Yet it is doubtful that Iran is in Yemen.
As well, the IRIB French Radio reported on June 19 that Iran and Russia advocate the immediate end of attacks against Yemen.
Both Russia and Iran support the Geneva peace talks on Yemen, and demand the military attacks end immediately so that the ceasefire may be established to enable sending humanitarian aid to Yemen.
Timeline on the 2014-2015 Yemeni Coup D'état (based on mainstream media reports, via wikipedia)
Back in January 2015, the Houthis, a Shi'ite Muslim minority group, had radicalized to the point where they ousted the Saudi-backed Yemen government of President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi. At that point, the US government was still in talks with them.
After the situation deteriorated further, Saudi Arabia decided to launch an attack on Yemen.
When the Al Saud attack on Yemen to bring Hadi back to power began in March 2015, the US provided logistics and intelligence to the coalition of Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations (Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Sudan).
That coalition was deployed to prevent Yemen from becoming a Shi'a dominated state. This problem started back in September 2004 when Saudi feared that the Shi'a Muslim Houthi movement could become a problem in Yemen and used force to assassinate its leader, Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi.
Originally al-Houthi was a member of the Yemeni Zaydi political party Al-Haqq (The Truth). After the party supported South Yemen separatism, they were targeted by the Yemeni government of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, an ally of Iraq's Saddam Hussein. In response, the al-Houthi family (al-Houthi, his father Badr al-Din Tabatabai, and his younger brother Abd al-Malik) fled Yemen, first to Syria, and eventually settled in Qom, Iran. Reportedly al-Houthi formed a relationship with Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, and Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's leader.
In the 1990s Hussein established the Believing Youth (BY) movement to promote a Zaidi revival in Saada to counter the dominance by Saudi-backed Yemeni regime since unification. Originally the BY movement was a moderate theological movement which preached tolerance with a broad-minded view of Yemeni people. After 1995, over 17,500 students had attended BY summer camps, which included lectures by Lebanese Shiite scholar Mohammed Hussein Fadhlallah and Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Party.
Then 911 happened.
As a result of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Ansarullah was radicalized by the influence of Hussein al-Houthi. Youths affiliated with Believing Youth chanted anti-American and anti-Jewish slogans in the Saleh Mosque in the Yemen capitol city of Sana'a after Friday Prayers. This attracted the attention of the Yemeni authorities who were worried of the extent of the al-Houthi movement's influence.
So they arrested 800 BY supporters in Sana'a in 2004. Then Yemen President Saleh issued an invitation to Hussein al-Houthi to a meeting in the capitol which Hussein declined. In response, Saleh ordered Hussein's arrest in June 2004. This resulted in an anti-government insurgency by al-Houthi, which led to his death in September 2004.
Most of the insurgency was over by 2010 when both the Houthis and the Yemen government agreed to a cease-fire. Arab Spring in 2011 led to the 2011 Yemeni Revolution and the ensuing National Dialogue Conference, both of which Houthis were a participant. Yet their rejection of the provisions of the Gulf Cooperation Council deal meant that the revolution was not over.
Meanwhile, President Saleh is deposed in 2011 and his Vice President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi is made President in 2012.
By May 2012 the Houthis control most of Saada, Al Jawf and Hajjah governates, and have also gained access to the Red Sea. By the end of 2014 they control most of Sana'a and other towns such as Rada'. In response, a strong challenge for control of the region is made by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
At this point it is apparent that Iran was giving aid to the Houthis and that Saudi Arabia was aiding various militant groups such as AQAP and Islamic State.
In January 2015 the Houthis seized the presidential palace in Sana'a. During this takeover, President Hadi was present in the palace but left unharmed. By February, the Houthi Revolutionary Committee dissolved parliament and declared itself the acting authority in Yemen.
In retaliation, March 2015 saw the al-Badr and al-Hashoosh mosques come under suicide attack during midday prayers by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (now Islamic State).
On March 25, 2015 Saudi Arabia and a coalition of nine Arab states begin airstrikes in neighbouring Yemen.
Finally on April 21, 2015, the operation is declared over. However, the aftermath is still ongoing.
Behind the scenes, it turns out that former President Saleh is working as one of the leaders of the Yemeni coup d-etat led by the Shi'a Muslim Houthi militants. Tribesmen and government forces aligned with Saleh have allied with the Houthis.
Saudi Arabian diplomats failed to persuade Russia to abandon its support for the Assad government in Syria, and Riyadh is now containing a potential media fallout over its exposure.

The Evils of Capitalism (satire)
Yet in Bahrain, the Shia workers are oppressed by the al-Khalifa dynasty whilst its leader sups with Queen Elizabeth. It's as though the Queen of England is unaware of how the working people of Bahrain and even Qatar are exploited by their Sunni overlords. In Saudi Arabia, one of the Saudi princes is a serial killer of pretty Saudi women who appear to be sex objects to savages.
However, were I a well-known journalist, Bahrain would sue me for libel. There might even be a fatwa on me by a Sunni cleric. However, I refuse to fault the religion of Islam. Rather, I fault the men of Islam who abandon the greater jihad of self control for the lesser jihad of holy war.
How does it make a Muslim man greater than an unbeliever if, despite being provided a wife, a servant and an animal, such a man beats his wife, his servant or his animal? Even the Prophet(as) never beat his camel, nor any of his wives. I have read of no such thing in the Quran, but if the hadiths or even Sharia allowed an exception, then it would be wrong to harm another sentient being, be it a woman, a servant or an animal.
As for another Muslim man, Mohammed (pbuh) he never harmed anyone in Mecca, before and after hijra, except to defend his right to freedom of religion and trade.
Today, the criminals pretending to be good Muslims are called Islamic terrorists, and even have imams to guide them, despite the fact that their Islam is harmful to unbelievers and more moderate Muslims. Yet political Islam is in a way sacrilege when it emphasizes holy war, for war itself suggests that Islam cannot help most men to master their desires and feelings.
Who truly is the loser than the average Muslim man is allowed to beat his wife, his servant or his animal?
If Islam were truly superior to other religions, then why is Mohammad's perfection not habitually emulated? It is surely not a good example for a Muslim man to be waging holy war in these latter days of postmodern life when most of the West is relatively peaceful.
I am not going to go on to rail against the pedophiles who are found among the criminals who hide behind Muhammad but it is sacrilege to abuse young boys and girls. Mohammad (pbuh) did not harm his first wife's slave boy and neither did his wife. Just because a child is mischievous is no reason to use the rod on that child. Isah (sa) warned people not to harm children, who being innocence of adulthood, are destined for heaven due to sudden death.
However, their parents will stand before the Fire while God Almighty shows them how they treated their children. Those parents who were just in their discipline of their children will get reprieve, but woe to any parents who has harmed their children!
Although I do not say any of this as a Muslim but as an apostate to Judeo-Christian religions and an unbeliever of Islam due to my Buddhist origins, none of what I write is more of using the idioms pertaining to Islam to help my Muslim brothers and sisters to widen their understanding of Islam.
For religious extremism is a threat to peace in the world. In America, though, 2.5 percent of all terrorism could be deemed Islamic. That's correct: 97.5 percent of terrorism on American soil was by non-Muslims, mainly Army of God anti-abortion terrorists.
Thus the Islamophobia of America is uncalled for because it would be Christian radicals who are more of a threat to national security than Islamic terrorists, followed by fringe Jewish Defense League terrorists.
The term "evils of capitalism" is bandied about by the Left and the Muslims. This term thus suggests that 911 was actually a precursor to Occupy Wall Street, a critique of globalism. I believe this to be true, rather than using the overused trope of Islamic terrorism.
What if terrorism is actually a warning sign that capitalism is off track? For this lust for money is but a root of all evil, be it miserliness, wars, and even pedophilia. Those criminal terrorists of the Moslem brand know this too, because their Sharia is a way of returning the Middle East to a time before Mohammed (pbuh) while pretending they wish to return to the glory days of Islamic conquest.
I see it as a tragedy, and the members of al-Qaeda are a bunch of men hoodwinked by a charlatan pretending to be an imam. Why, the man is barely a great surgeon! How good can his Islamic jurisprudence truly be?
Ultimately though, I am not a threat to the criminal terrorists. To them I am just an ignorant unbeliever. My words do not count as much before a mullah. Even so, I would fully embrace the evils of capitalism rather than become a Muslim because the criminal terrorists have sullied the name of Mohammed as much as those Islamophobes have.
And yet, the Muslims have all the right in the world to declare that there is no god greater than God.

The Qutbs I Do not Admire (satire)
Now their words are being misused by Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan as well as al Qaeda globally.
This is also why I do not think much of Muslim Brotherhood fronting political candidates among the Maghrebi Arab Spring participants.
If it is true Morsi in Egypt was receiving payola from US Foreign policy department without oversight from the Egyptian military, a known CIA asset, then this is just wrong. That money should have gone to the military.
Most people do not believe it was the CIA that was bribing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This is why I think that the US embassy also had a separate slush fund for Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo. In my opinion, this suggests that the US ambassador to Egypt was "donating" money to the Muslim Brotherhood directly without telling his CIA handler.
This suggests that the CIA and US ambassador are at odds about where their bribe money is supposed to go in Egypt.
This revelation makes the Libya scene involving Benghazi an interesting scenario where the US ambassador there might have been "donating" money to the wrong cause while the CIA were trying to "turn" al Qaeda members.
However, Egypt is proof that bribes only work when nobody exposes it.

Is War On Terrorism Worth 3000 American Lives? (satire)
On March 20, 2003 the US launched the War against Terrorism. This was in response to three passenger jets being launched as bombs against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
Fortunately, many brave passengers forced the crash of the third plane somewhere in rural Pennsylvania before it could reach its target, the White House.
According to what became a part of the official story, a scion of the Saudi Arabian bin Laden financial empire, Osama, chose himself to become the mastermind of a shadowy Muslim fundamentalist group called al-Qaeda that had been formed with the aid of the Pakistani and support from like-minded Islamist from Egypt.
What is not commonly know is that CIA operatives working within the hierarchy of power within Washington, DC, capitol and home of the Chief Executive of America, the President, have been operating undercover as diplomats within the US Embassy at Islamabad.
They have consistently vetoed the CIA's recommendation to continue with intelligence gathering in the Middle East, leaving that job to the National Security Agency, which according to reports keeps a close eye on the region via the Israeli spy satellite that US investors owns a good chunk of.
As a result of influence by the CIA-trained diplomats in Islamabad, numerous trade deals and also various offers of US aid courtesy of the American taxpayers have been made, or are ongoing. Thus, the Pakistani military has accepted these offers with the tacit approval of government officials in Islamabad.
For Pakistani's military secret service, ISI, has been well funded to supply training to the Taliban, and in aiding in the overthrow of the legitimate government in Afghanistan circa 1989.
However, this move by proxy via Pakistan is the indirect result of US foreign policy, which has been influenced by anti-communism since the McCarthy era in the mid-1950s.
For Afghanistan had been under the thumb of Soviet domination for a decade preceding the civil war that continued throughout much of the 1990s.
Intelligence sources indicate that Osama bin Laden was originally the son of the family that formed the bin Laden corporation which has enjoyed strong trade ties with the Bush family's Carlyle Group since the 1960s.
Officially, Washington has associated bin Laden with al-Qaeda, and has denied any ties between the Bush family and him.
Furthermore, bin Laden had not been captured as of January 31, 2009, and his escape into Pakistan has been confirmed and denied and reconfirmed so many times that President Bush has stated that bin Laden isn't important to the war cause that now has seized the imagination of the American people today.
In my option, the War against Terrorism is American foreign policy just as much as the War against Drugs is.
For this is what American foreign policy consists of: economic dominance of the world in the interests of national security.
This explains American legislation on drug use, mental health, and poverty, both within domestic policy and in influencing other nations to follow suit. Such laws are purported to serve the people, to regulate their happiness, their peace of mind, and their material benefit. Instead, such laws are being abused, serving to oppress the poor even more, and to divide the community.
Drug abuse and its effect on community, the drive to close down mental institutions while retraining mental health care personnel, and the social security system with its overworked administration has only served to prove the old adage that "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer."
Yet American foreign policy only indirectly led to September 11, 2001.
We have to question over $2 billion going to Israel, almost a billion to Egypt, and millions to other nations such as Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
In total, at least $4 billion from the US go to the Middle East, the majority of it to Israel.
We thought it was for oil, but it's more than that that runs the American money machine. There's also millions of thirsty people in the Middle East, but it is developed nations that own most of the fresh water.
However, it's not just about oil or water; it's also about political power.
Bush's administration went to war because it couldn't afford to alienate millions of Americans who wanted justice to be served in the name of the 3000 people who died in 9-11.
Yet, are lives of thousands of innocent Muslim children, men and women worth the lives of 3000 people? A lot of Americans think so.
I don't. Neither do the Democrats, some of whose representative in DC regret the invasion of Iraq.
Even so, I do not believe it is wise to fully withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq because the threat of al-Qaeda still lingers as of January 15, 2013.
Although Osama may have been executed in Pakistan and his body supposedly dumped in the ocean by the US, al-Qaeda used Iraq as the launching ground against Sunni Muslims' enemies including Shi'a Muslims both in Iraq, Syria and the Levant.
It is not in the US's best interests to bring the troops home, for the enemy is threatening the homeland of the Syrian Arabs whose ancestors chose Jesus over Mohammad. Even though today, in Syria there are Shi'a and Sunni Muslims fighting against each other with Bashar al-Assad depending on Shiite militants, both domestic and abroad (Hezbollah being funded by Iran).
According to the reports from Syria, many Muslims from Syria have become refugees in Jordan (mostly Palestinians), Egypt (predominantly Sunnis), Iran (probably Shiites) and Turkey (secular Syrians and possibly some Christians). I have not read one report about Syrian Christians, but possibly they are refugees in Lebanon along with some Shi'a and a few Sunni militants).
Most likely though the Syriacs are refugees in France and the UK, due to the former colonial powers' ties to the Levant, including Palestine.
There may even be some Syriacs arriving in the US and Canada, for all I know.
In any case, the death of Osama bin Laden has not weakened al-Qaeda. Instead, other home-grown militants in the West are willing to train to become a vital part of what could be seen as the mythical hydra, a beast with many heads.
According to the myth, Hercules was challenged with the task to rid a certain Greek city of this beast, the Lemaean Hydra, a water dragon with heads too numerous to depict. When he cut one head off, two heads replaced it. In a cave beside Lake Lerna the dragon lives, guarding the entrance to the Underworld.
An offspring of Typhon and Echidna, both of whom were noisome children of the earth goddess Gaia, it was lured out by Hercules using fire arrows. After realizing cutting off the heads of the Hydra would be a long task, he retreated to his camp where his nephew Iolus awaited his return. During his absence, Iolus had been visited by the goddess Athena who slyly gave the young lad the inspiration to cauterize the wounds after cutting off the heads of the beast.
With this knowledge, Hercules returned to battle the creature and succeeded in cutting off all the heads but one. At this point, Athena turned his sword golden and Hercules slew the beast. Then he took the arrows in his quill to dip the heads in the poisonous blood of the Hydra.
In actual fact, Hercules was a pawn in the rivalry between Athena and Hera, the wife of Zeus who was King of the Greek Gods and father to Hercules. The reason for this rivalry is that Athena was born from Zeus' head thus making her equal in power to her father. Hera had to learn to give birth on her own to Hephaestus to match him.
Within context of modern times, the myth of Hercules' second task of slaying the Hydra can be applied to Syria and the Middle East. Al-Qaeda is the hydra. America is Hercules. The UK is Zeus. Hera is France, since they had a riot recently that burned a part of Paris. Syria and the Levant represents the cave in which the hydra dwells, and the Lerna is the Mediterranean Sea, whose waves wash on shores of nations from which came most of the members of al-Qaeda. The poisonous blood of the hydra represents the works of Sayyid Qutb and the messages of its current leaders on-line today at Youtube e.g. hate propaganda.
However, the problem here is the firebrand necessary to burn the heads of the hydra might mean more than conventional munitions, for it suggests the pacification of Iran regarding nuclear development might hide the movement of plutonium the US and other nuclear power desire from Iran.
For the nuclear powers were afraid that Iran would arm itself and provide arms to North Korea and other nations who are not too close to the US, including the Ukraine. But that's fodder for another myth at another time.

Canada Lacks al-Qaeda Terorrists (satire)
For every al Qaeda killed, there appears to be up to nine noncombatants killed.
In certain areas such as Syria, collateral damage is up to 20 times greater e.g. for every al Qaeda member killed by Syrian government, up to 180 or more Syrians are killed.
However, the incident of al Qaeda in Canada is 20, assuming that al Qaeda implies home-grown terrorists inspired by al Qaeda activity in the Middle East. All of these home-grown terrorists in Canada never committed a terrorist act. Rather, they have been purported to have committed attempted terrorist acts, which is not the same as a completed act.
Therefore Canada lacks true al-Qaeda terrorists. Attempted terrorism is not the same as a completed act of terrorism.
What the RCMP actually "caught" are would-be terrorists groomed by CSIS operatives in an entrapment scheme.
None of these so-called terrorists are actually terrorists. The only reason that the mass media news outlets reported them was to make us feel secure in knowing that the RCMP can catch terrorists that State operative have groomed.
Thus this is a red flag that in Canada, the State is willing to label victims of its fake terrorist entrapment scheme as al-Qaeda.
Such is the price we pay regarding propaganda about the fallacy of home-grown terrorism in Canada.

Al Qaeda Using People with Disabilities as Suicide Bombers
In 2007 news reports first surfaced that al Qaeda was using people with disabilities as suicide bombers.
In the process, their families must be paid blood money.
As well, the would-be suicide bombers must face an awful dilemma: if they return to their home village, then they will face rejection by their families or worse, execution by al Qaeda.
Reports first surfaced in October 2007 about suicide bombers with disabilty.
There have been at least 110 suicide attacks in Afghanistan this year, more than in any other country except Iraq.
Most of the Afghan bombings are linked to the Taliban, but the identity of the recruits is often a mystery.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai and his security officials claim the attackers are foreigners, often from Pakistan. But a recent United Nations report says that bombers who were caught before they could carry out their attacks were overwhelmingly Afghan.
Whatever their nationality, many of the bombers have one major thing in common. A senior Afghan doctor who examines their remains finds that most of them were disabled or sick. — http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=15276485
In developed nations, people with disabilities are treated better. In Afghanistan, al Qaeda uses them as suicide bombers.
Meanwhile, opium sales from Afghanistan are destabilizing the region. Reference: http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=25523&Cr=afghan&Cr1=drugs
Then in February 2008, a report about disabled female suicide bombers in Iraq appears.
http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2008/02/al_qaeda_in_iraq_use.php
Then another disabled suicide bomber only succeeds in blowing himself up in April 2009.
http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5j42u52m_tp_x1rUrY3eU0I7qztSg
Also in August 2009, commentary is made about suicide bombers:
https://filipspagnoli.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/the-most-absurd-human-rights-violations-6-mentally-disabled-female-suicide-bomber/
While it is nice to know people with disability are treated better on the war front since 2007, it chills me to the bone that their families willingly take the blood money. Perhaps they have no alternative except death.
In 2011, we hear from a failed suicide bomber on the matter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYSyoY4cRw4
Overall, from their viewpoint, this appears to be a win-win situation for al Qaeda and for the families of disabled people victimized by the terrorists in this way.
However, to Western eyes, this is wrong on so many levels, that the life of a disabled person is worthless to terrorists. It clearly demonstrates that their ideology is tainted by a sense of entitlement and an air of superiority and other elements similar to narcissism, except that they go beyond being manipulative to being criminal.
Note: the al Qaeda in Afghanistan are the Taleban.

Al-Qaeda are Actually Home-Grown Terrorists in Their Home Country
Denying this is the privilege of the politically correct.
Yet as long as the Obama administration refuses to admit the religious side of this war on terrorism, they will only continue to be viewed by Muslims in the Middle East as oppressors, rather than as emancipators trying to bring democracy to Afghanistan and Iraq.
The freeing of al-Qaeda terrorists from Iraq prisons cannot be blamed on Iraq police, because the prisons they were housed in were not immune to attack as the attackers had at least one collaborator on the inside.
Yet at the same time, most of the al-Qaeda warriors in Syria are actually on the US payroll.
IMO the reason why al-Qaeda in Iraq were imprisoned had more to do with their refusal to be bribed by America to fight in its proxy war in Syria. It is also why America bombed Yemen, because Al-Qaeda there refuses to be a pawn in America's proxy wars in Libya, Egypt, and other parts of the Middle East.
Yet it is well know that al-Qaeda was originally trained by Pakistan ISI officials using US money through the CIA during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
It's not hard to conclude then that Chechen rebels in Russia might have been employed by a black-ops cell set up by the CIA to destabilize Russia.
However, it is more likely that the Chechens have a bone to pick with Moscow regarding their treatment by Russians in Chechyna and in Russia itself.
When you marginalize a minority be it Yemeni tribesmen in the clans not related to the one backing the Yemeni regime or Chechens in Russia, shit is bound to happen.
This is why Russia has Muslim terrorists: because of a racist policy regarding the Chechen including moving them to Siberia.
Originally, al-Qaeda are home-grown terrorists within their home countries, be it Chechen rebels, Iraq al-Qaeda,Yemen al-Qaeda or even Libyan al-Qaeda.
Yet America's problem with al-Qaeda is that not all of them are so easy to bribe. Yemen is proof of that.

The Shaye Case Example of Danger of Reporting War on Terror
America did so by pressuring former Yemeni leader Saleh to keep Shaye in prison for five years, rather than pardoning him according to the will of the people of Yemen.
In doing so, America violates the sovereignty of Yemen.
Background: In late 2009, Yemen took credit for a botched assault on a village containing terrorists, killing women and children. In this assault, a Tomahawk missile was recovered, which meant a US warship shot the missile.
Shaye was the journalist that broke this story, which showed that the US forced the corrupt Saleh dictatorship to be the fall guy for its mistake.
Because Shaye wouldn't keep quiet about this, the US ask Yemen to force him into silence. Instead, the journalist went to a prominent Arab news media outlet to report it.
In 2010 he was arrested on trumped up charges and given five years in prison, so that the US could continue its mission to rid itself of al-Qaeda non-compliant to their use to fight wars for America.
Then after 3 years of pressure, the new Yemeni government released Shaye.

War Against Terrorism Musings
America was ready to fight Iraq since the mid 1990s, Iraqi-American Ahmed Chalabi was already collaborating with a NY Times reporter to inject propaganda with false claims of WMD, which still have yet to be proven.
Thus the War on Iraq consists of the invasion of a sovereign nation under the guise of War of Terrorism, purportedly to depose Saddam Hussein.
In actual fact, Iraq was invaded to control its natural resources, primarily its oil.
In the case of Afghanistan, America was poised to depose the Taleban because of human rights violations and unwillingness to negotiate a diplomatic solution and stick with it.
Today we have the Department of Homeland Security protecting America including airport checks, which shows fascism appearing like cracks on the facade of democracy.
Even though I realize all of this about the War on Terrorism, I also have found mass media to be like a fair weather friend.
Before the War on Terrorism, they published propaganda about WMD in Iraq. Now they vilify Bush for his false claims of WMD, claims which were first reported in the NY Times.
So, if 9-11 had to do with the War on Terrorism, then mass media propaganda has done its job. For it is simpler to believe that than to connect the dots.
