Back in 2001, almost everyone misinterpreted my comment sometime after 9-11 that whoever planned it had the right to protest but I disagreed with its execution. Yet the moderate Muslim clerics in America soon decried it.
Ever since then, the mainstream media (MSM) has filtered out their response and provided what I perceived as unfair commentary. What rankled me the most was the Russian Orthodox church taking a Crusader attitude to it.
Then the US government led a neo-Crusader war in Afghanistan and later in Iraq. I call these conflicts neo-Crusader because the optics in the Middle East and most Muslim countries is colored by religion.
According to Muslim claims, one reason 9-11 happened because of one US military base on Saudi soil. The result of this is the current Islamic State in northern Iraq, and the radicalization of individuals in the West sympathetic to the jihadi cult and its extremism, worldwide.
Not all of this war is positive: the Taliban, al Qaeda, and even the Islamic State are barely contained.
FWIW I view in general terms the conflict in the Middle East as a global conflict where secularism and its variety of consumerism versus the political extremism that I call "the jihadi cult."
To call it radical Islam may be mistaken, since the MSM have filtered out the historical justification that the jihadi cult makes, which paints it as a continuation of the Crusades but with American secularism having replaced the Catholic church as defenders of Western values.
After reading about the Jordanian pilot being burned alive by the Islamic State, I heartily agree with the Jordani call to "wipe them out."
However, it is because of the oil wells in Syria that that conflict continues; it is because of the pipeline across Afghanistan that region may see more conflicts with the Taliban; and it is because of the pipeline from Russia into the Ukraine that is behind that conflict.
No nation is willing to admit to that. Even the US government will censor it. Instead, the Islamic State is a distraction as are the terrorist incidents in America, in the UK and even in Canada.
So is the Charlie Hebdo attack, the killing of a British soldier in the UK, the Bostom Marathon bombing, and the bombings in London. The MSM will never expose the fact that our worldwide oil supply is running out is the main reason for these conflicts.
Instead, the pretext for the conflicts (the West's demand for oil and its consumption) will be discounted as conspiracy theory.
Meanwhile, the propaganda against Islam continues unabated, despite the fact that most of the propaganda is too a distraction from the truth: the jihadi cults of al Qaeda, Islamic State and the Taliban are no longer tacitly supported by most moderate Muslim clerics. Ergo, the Islamophobes' fear mongering is no cause for concern, for it only feeds into the fears of right-wing conservatives without balancing it with the simple fact that most Muslims are not blood-thirsty terrorists.
Even Salafi Muslims are distancing themselves from the Islamic State.
Radical Islam is the threat, but not one MSM outlet will suggest bombing those oil wells that the Islamic State own. That is because the conflict is over oil and who owns it.

Perhaps the Noble Qur'an in Surat Al-Baqarah, specifically Surah 2:6-21 (Shakir translation) best sums up extremist groups such as Al Qaeda, Islamic State and the Taliban as well as their allies in Nigeria and in Kenya.
Surely those who disbelieve — whether you warn them or not, it is the same to them — will not believe. God has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them.
There are some people who say: "We believe in God and the last day"; and they are not at all believers. They desire to deceive God and those who believe, but they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive.
There is a disease in their hearts, so God added to their disease and they shall have a painful chastisement because they lied. When it is said to them, "Do not make mischief in the land," they say: "We are but peace-makers."
Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive. When it is said to them: "Believe as the people believe," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know.
When they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe;" and when they are alone with their Shaitans, they say: "Surely we are with you, we were only mocking." God shall pay them back their mockery, and He leaves them alone in their excessiveness, blindly wandering on.
These are they who buy error for the right direction, so their bargain shall bring no gain, nor are they the followers of the right direction. O men! serve your Lord Who created you and those before you so that you may guard against evil.
This quote is in reference to Muslims, specifically extremists, and in it God admonishes the true believer in Islam to not "make mischief in the land" while declaring themselves peace-makers and reformers.
Apparently the extremists in the Islamic State claim to be serving God yet their acts speak for themselves: wanton acts of violence against innocent Christians, Muslims, Yazidis and humanitarian aid workers. This is not Shariah; this too is a mockery of Shariah.
Despite claiming to be Muslim, the Islamic State has mocked God while committing horrible acts of violence, contrary to Islamic law. It is no wonder that the whole world has decried what they did to the Jordanian pilot.
Because of this latest spectacle of violence, most Muslims have aligned with the West, specifically America, including Canada, Japan, the UK and also Jordan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and even Saudi Arabia — to name a few of the Middle East nations. Their religious leaders have condemned the violence, and their political leaders have sent personnel to bomb the extremists. Other nations have sent humanitarian aid.
Recently the Syrian Foreign Minister criticized the violation of Syrian air space by the Jordanians. He has also rejected plans by the West to send in ground troops on Syrian soil.
Since the Islamic State occupies both sides of the border between Syria and Iraq, it is expedient to deal with the imminent threat of the extremists and let the diplomats both Syrian and Jordanian to work out the rules of engagement.
As well, the lack of protection of humanitarian aid workers has led to kidnappings and murders by the Islamic State. This is sad and tragic for their surviving families, especially since innocent lives have been lost.
Earlier I have endorsed the opinion that Jordan should help wipe out the Islamic State. Now that the UAE is also stepping up to the plate to help defeat the extremists, this is both good news and bad news. The bad news: more innocent victims might be killed. This is a given, considering the ruthless violence that the Islamic State is capable of. As for the good news, it disproves the conservative fallacy that "all Muslims are not to be trusted."
For not all Muslims are terrorists.
Indeed, extremism and other acts of violence that lead to terrorism are the work of jihadi cult members who pretend to believe in God and violently carry out their version of Sharia as the only true law. Were they truly believers of God's Oneness, they would not excuse their violence against Muslims and non-Muslims by misquoting the Quran.
Instead, they would treat both Muslims and non-Muslims kindly. Indeed, the extremists commit acts of violence that invalidate their claims of being Muslims, for they have become a law unto themselves.
While this war could be shortened by taking out the oil wells and sabotaging the oil pipeline leading to Banias, Syria, both sides want to keep these assets from harm, lest pollution from burning raw oil contaminate the landscape. Most importantly, if oil assets are destroyed, the war may escalate into a scorched earth scenario that will lead to more innocent lives being lost.
Since neither side wants that to happen, we shall see the continuation of the endless war which began when the US government sent its troops to "liberate" Baghdad in 2003.
It is quite clear that the West wants Assad's oil. Heck, the West also wants Russia's oil, which explains the current Ukraine crisis.
So this endless war is not going to stop any time soon. Meanwhile, more home-grown terrorism in Asia, Europe, The Americas (Canada and the US) and even Australia and New Zealand will be uncovered in the future.

The Syrian Crisis: Cutting Through the Propaganda (satire)

Robert Ford is why wannabe jihadis are flocking to Syria to fight against the corrupt regime of Bashir al Assad.
Thanks to strong propaganda against Syria, primarily due to its ties with North Korea, the US government has created the current crisis in that country.
Since Robert Stephen Ford is the mastermind of American sponsored terrorism in Syria, the blood is truly on the hands of American government.
However, Islam is not the enemy in Syria.
That would be the US-backed propagandists labeling Assad an evil tyrant in their mainstream media. His crime would be aligning with Iran and dealing with North Korea. Yet the majority of people suffering are Palestinians, displaced by the birth of Israel in 1947.
Hence, Syria's Arab Spring is but a continuation of the struggle between a people (the Palestinians) demonized by propaganda and a world misled into believing Israel is one of the good guys.
If you do not believe Israel is on our side, then you are an anti-Semite, even if your lack of trust in Israel is based on the cold facts that Israel acts like a client state of America and its imperialism in the Middle East.
Even America's invasion of Iraq is but a cold and calculated move for American dominance in the Middle East, or, so the propaganda goes.
However, both sides are in error since the endless war is never over, because the so-called oppressed nation of Israel will be exposed for crying wolf. Yet the sheeple will side with Israel because of right-wing propaganda painting all Muslims as caricatures of Islamic jihadism.
If you hate all Muslims then know that you have been duped by the mainstream media and your gut feeling has been manipulated by propaganda from CNN and FOX News. We all saw how well they tried to blame Amerithrax on Iraq when it's more likely that might have been an inside job.
Muslims who know the truth will laugh at this compliance with propaganda. Nobody who is Muslim in the Middle East and well educated believes al Qaeda and their ilk are Muslim. They know them to be criminals who will burn in hell for their crimes against humanity.
Once, right wing militants like the Muslim Brotherhood will cheer on those criminal terrorists who hide under the robes of a pious Muslim. Now, with the rise of the Islamic State in northern Iraq, all the Muslims have condemned them.
Those who condemn Syria should remember that Ambassador Robert Ford egged on the civilians of Syria to protest in a country where the Assad regime rules with an iron fist.
Given that the rebels did not sent their envoys to the failed peace talks in Geneva, that makes them look like they are only interested in an endless war controlled by ideology rather than by cold hard facts.
However, if you think Syrians are suffering, think again. These people in the picture are not Syrians. The smart ones with the means have already fled Syria, either fleeing to Turkey or to America. It is the unfortunate ones that end up anywhere else, including Jordan and Egypt.
For the people in the photograph are Palestinians, and they suffer due to ideology be it Shi'a or Sunni or even American foreign policy as expedited by Israel, often with prejudice favoring Jews over Arab.
Indeed, the enemy here is not Assad. It is those criminals behind al Qaeda and the Taleban, and especially the Islamic State. No Muslim in their right mind would support them. It is they who threaten, Syria and now Iraq, because their Sharia will ruin both Syria and Iraq were they to win. Any Muslim who supports the Islamic State is Muslim in name only. For the Qatari and Saudis who are behind them are crazy, crazy for oil money, and eager to pay for a holy war, contrary to Islam, all thanks to Big Oil.
Think about that the next time you line up for gas at the gas pumps: your driving privileges support terrorism. It also leads to endless war in the Middle East. So regarding any propaganda about Muslims that you hold, you've been lied to just to manipulate your fears by mainstream media.
If you really cared about the Middle East, then please sell your second car, which you don't really need. Its convenience is echoed in millions of other people with two vehicles actually fund unrest in the Middle East.
Yet, were I to tell this to people filling up their SUVs at the gas pumps, they would be angry due to their fear of losing status among their peers. It is such a waste of money but everyone is doing it, hoping that another recession controlled by powers-that-be won't cause them to lose their jobs.
For all these wars in the Middle East are the doing of elites around the world who want to make a profit from it. Who cares if you lose your jobs? Who cares if Palestinians suffer in Syria? They are also hoping you side with the thinly veiled propaganda designed to cause you to hate the Muslims.
Still, what good does this do except gain more subscribers for the propaganda machine called mainstream media? Indeed, the mainstream media sources are merely propaganda outlets for US foreign policy which has caused much of the civil unrest in the world today. By pushing democracy, America has only caused anarchy in the world.
In my opinion, Muslims were never our enemies. Islamic terrorists did not fly planes into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. That is only what the elites want you to believe. You have been lied to.
A jihadi is not Islamic -- he is an Islamist. The term "Islamic terrorist" is used for propaganda, and is only true within context of mainstream media. They are a corporate terrorist network that is nominally Islamic in that they take what is in the Quran and its hadiths only to utterly distort its true meaning.
I'm sure that people who believe otherwise think that what I am writing is propaganda. However, I am telling you truth based on what Muslims tell me. They were never the enemy. That has always been truth. I am just saddened that few people are willing to discover the truth about what Muslims think about those quasi-Muslim terrorists - the Islamists - that the mainstream media write about.
However, it's not up to me to change the minds of bigots. They would rather listen to the propaganda than work to open their minds to Truth.
It is Sayyid Qutb who is the father of Islamism. However, the acts of violent revolution are influenced by his words.
By "setting up the kingdom of God on earth, and eliminating the kingdom of man," Islamists think they are "taking power from the hands of its human usurpers and restoring it to God alone".
Instead, they are taking power into their own hands and forcing sharia in contravention to the Quran by limiting the choices of their Muslim subjects in the Islamic State to submit or die.
Thus, the Islamic State is merely continuing human usurpation and oppression of Muslims by Islamists who are political ideologists bent on total control and domination of the Ummah that they are purported of restoring power to God alone.
Since this has occurred in northern Iraq and eastern Syria, it is still a part of the Syrian crisis. That crisis has proven time and again of being orchestrated by American foreign policy in Syria, and funded by Qatari and Saudi sympathizers of the Syrian rebels.
For the almost-religious zeal of the American government to force democracy on the Middle East, especially Afghanistan, Iraq and even Syria will only lead to more anarchy in the Middle East.
Perhaps then, the Islamic State is only a symptom of that anarchy, which makes Islamism a Muslim answer to globalism. Might that mean jihadi is just another name for "freedom fighter" and the freedom that they are fighting for is the extreme of the right to freedom of religion?

Poverty's Influence on 9-11 (satire)
After much reflection, I have come to the conclusion that the Afghan and Iraq wars may have been instigated, not only because of 9-11, mainly due to recession caused to US involvement in the Yugoslav wars, the second Gulf War and financial problems caused by globalism. However, it is mainly because of a strong desire for financial gain that a financial recession preceded the wars in both fronts.
Had the US Government and its corporate sponsors not been so focused on gain, perhaps a different scenario might have played out following 9-11. For there is a strong tie between gain and revenge, as evidenced by the many different corporations that played a part in the drama unfolding in Kabul as well as Baghdad.
One strong proof that US-based multi-national corporations may be playing a role in Iraq cones to light in the revelation that a certain VA official who recently stepped down was also the same individual nobody listened to when he stated that a total withdrawal from Iraq would lead to disaster.
When his words came true, the Bush administration lost credibility and their days were doomed.
When Blackwater attacked civilians later, it took seven years to bring six of the men caught in the firefight to be brought to justice. In the fall out of that incident, Blackwater became Academi. As well, there were never any WMD in Iraq. For the Iraq War is the result of a decade of propaganda, and has left Iraq more vulnerable to attack by al Qaeda than ever before.
All that the Afghan War has done is push the Taliban into Pakistan to their backers among the Pakistan warlords. How can launching drone attacks do anything more than polarize the Pakistanis?
Today it has been three years since Arab Spring, and the Syrian uprising has morphed into a purported civil war, with the rebels supported by the US, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. al Qaeda operates on two fronts, through al Nusrah and ISIS, with ISIS being unwanted because of their criminal acts against both sides.
Meanwhile, in northeastern Nigeria, the Boko Haram have stolen over 300 girls, all because GoodLuck Jonathan, the president of Nigeria, has amassed an oil fortune worth billions, billions of oil dollars that he only shares with his in-group. Once again, oil has led to corruption.
In Saudi Arabia, four beautiful princesses are slowly starving to death due to the Saudi King's ill-will towards their mother. This too is due to corruption caused by oil wealth.
In my opinion, financial gain is in part the root of the world's ills because despite seeking it, the world corporations give back very little. Corruption is the result of concentrating wealth in the hands of a limited amount of people. It is this inability to share wealth that is rooted in a certain mindset that believes power and control is determined by the amount of wealth you amass.
Yet the truth is, the more you share what little you have, the better off all of society is. Free-market capitalists will never understand this truth about wealth because they only believe in physical wealth. They do not understand that true wealth consists not only of what you own but also of what is in your heart.
Without generosity, only the richest people are powerful. Because of generosity, even the poor are enriched. That a nation thinks only of Wealth in terms of how to amass it without considering generosity astonishes me. For without charity, what good is wealth?

After 9-11, the people fighting for freedom around the world were recast as terrorists, even though it is freedom that they fight for. This includes Chechens, Palestinians, Moroccans, First Nations, Turks, and Uyghurs among many people fighting for the right of self determination. It even includes the Tibetans.
This even includes the freedom of Russians in the Ukraine.
However, with freedom comes the challenge to not morph it into license and abuse the freedom gained from struggle. Rather than using freedom to amass wealth and the challenges that brings, it may be even more freeing to make enough money to afford to life simply. That way, it is possible to avoid much of the problems that financial success brings to us.
For what good is wealth if when you become successful, someone else is going to steal it? It could be a better life to live simply and not to make a lot of wealth, but enough to stay alive without wanting more. However, that takes a lot of sacrifice to accomplish.
None of what happened after 9-11 surprises me. It became unnecessary to use encryption to validate email immediately after until the recent revelation that Canada spies on its citizens. Then the use of HTTPS became more common, though the majority of web traffic is unencrypted because most people assume that by having nothing to hide, there is no point in encryption.
Even so, would you open your router to everyone by removing the password to WiFi access?

However, with freedom comes the challenge to not morph it into license and abuse the freedom gained from struggle. Rather than using freedom to amass wealth and the challenges that brings, it may be even more freeing to make enough money to afford to life simply. That way, it is possible to avoid much of the problems that financial success brings to us.
For what good is wealth if when you become successful, someone else is going to steal it? It could be a better life to live simply and not to make a lot of wealth, but enough to stay alive without wanting more. However, that takes a lot of sacrifice to accomplish.
None of what happened after 9-11 surprises me. It became unnecessary to use encryption to validate email immediately after until the recent revelation that Canada spies on its citizens. Then the use of HTTPS became more common, though the majority of web traffic is unencrypted because most people assume that by having nothing to hide, there is no point in encryption.
Even so, would you open your router to everyone by removing the password to WiFi access?
Without wealth there is poverty. Yet with poverty, there is the means to climb out of it, not to become immensely successful, but to live simply. And a rich man cannot live simply.
This is what 9-11 has taught me.

Can you ask the leader of your country to stop the War on Terrorism because it's not working?
The 3,000 deaths in the most symbolic form of terrorism ever called the 9-11 attack on the Twin Towers in NYC was, is and never will be worth the 100,000+ deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Those terrorists even missed the most vital nerve center of the West: the Stock Exchange backup servers. Had that been hit, we would have had the Crash. America's recovery could have been delayed, and the mortgage crunch in 2008 might have dragged on, leading to more poverty and homelessness for Middle Class America.
America would have been left unable to fund Israel, and the terrorists would have wiped it out by 2010.
By 2059, most terrorist bombings would have rendered most cities in the West inhospitable. By 2060, Islam would have had more forced converts and sharia law would have been imposed beyond Dearborn and Birmingham. The end result would not be pretty: by 2100, Muslims (4 billion) would outnumber Christians and Buddhists (3.5 billion) combined in a world with almost 8 billion people
So, I am saying 911 was better than the worst-case scenario. Unfortunately, 100,000+ people dead in the Middle East will never be worth the War on Terrorism, because it has never been 911 that was the real reason for invading Afghanistan and Iraq.

War Against Terrorism Musings
Sadly we may be in denial and mislead into believing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had to do with 9-11.
America was ready to fight Iraq since the mid 1990s, Iraqi-American Ahmed Chalabi was already collaborating with a NY Times reporter to inject propaganda with false claims of WMD, which still have yet to be proven.
Thus the War on Iraq consists of the invasion of a sovereign nation under the guise of War of Terrorism, purportedly to depose Saddam Hussein.
In actual fact, Iraq was invaded to control its natural resources, primarily its oil.
In the case of Afghanistan, America was poised to depose the Taleban because of human rights violations and unwillingness to negotiate a diplomatic solution and stick with it.
Today we have the Department of Homeland Security protecting America including airport checks, which shows fascism appearing like cracks on the facade of democracy.

War on Terror Manufactures Consent for Big Brother Laws
On December 9, 2001, I wrote the following article, which criticizes Seth Stevenson for attributing the "war on terrorism" to 9-11, when in fact the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were planned months earlier in an attempt to make it easier to get oil to Western markets without having both the Taleban and Saddam Hussein to deal with...
Seth Stevenson tries to pretend the "war on terrorism" is due to 4000 people getting killed at the WTC and the Pentagon, ignoring the fact that American foreign policy has affect more people's lives since WW 2.
Indeed, Stevenson tries not to analyze the real war on Afghanistan from its origins in the invasion by the Soviets to America's involvement in bin Laden's training as freedom fighter.
Other sources in mass media pretend that Pakistan's involvement in Afghanistan and the training of terrorists it supports is news to them.
It turns out that a recent report put out prior to 9/11/2001 stated that MOSSAD is quite capable of making an attack on American assets look like the Arabs did it.
Remember that originally bin Laden said that he had no clue who was behind the 9/11 attacks, but later started taking credit for the attacks when Bush began to press for his capture -- no compromises, no negotiations.
Then bin Laden's news videos started getting radical, with him provoking the militant freedom fighters - fighting to be free of American influence - known as terrorists while eventually admitting to the WTC/Pentagon attacks.
Now the war on Afghanistan continues on, due to America's machination, and the War on Terrorism will not end with the capture of Saddam Hussein, but continues on to destroy people's lives. Yet the Americans still hadn't caught their manufactured mastermind, Usama/Osmaine bin Laden. (On May 2, 2011 bin Laden was supposedly killed and buried at sea.)

Subway Pusher Admits to Hate Crime and Misdirected Bias
“I pushed a Muslim off the train tracks because I hate Hindus and Muslims. Ever since 2001 when they put down the Twin Towers I’ve been beating them up.” — Erika Menendez's reason for pushing Sunando Sen onto subway tracks at Flushing 7 in New York City.
My first reaction to Ms. Menendez's statement is "What? That kind of behavior got old when you graduate high school!"
This is another case of misdirected bias which this woman has been doing since 2001. Even though she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, her violence towards men who look like "Hindus and Muslims" verifies the misdirected bias phenomenon.
Her initial criminal charge in 2000 is related to a stolen credit card. However, evidence of her psychiatric disorder does not appear on her police time-line until 2005.
Although she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, her erratic behavior is more consistent with her drug use (cocaine and marijuana). The escalation of violence combined with harassment suggest elements of anger and rage preceded her attack.
However, her condition deteriorated in 2005 when she went off her medication. In the recent case, the trigger appears to be conflict with her mother. This was back in February 2012. It is likely her violence and non-compliance with medication is due to either the manic phase of her disorder and/or recreational drug use.
Her reasoning for killing Sen indicates psychosis. Even though I sympathize with her psychiatric condition, I find her reason for killing Sen irrational and harmful to others.
Yet a closer look at what precedes each assault — first in April 2003, she scratches and slaps a 28-year old man and later in June 2003 she punches a 55-yr old man — along with the non-compliance with medication, it indicates misdirection of aggression and violence against her loved ones towards an innocent bystander who is male, targeting a racial group. In December she was arrested for cocaine possession.
In the case with the 28 yr old man, she assaulted him in her home. The case was dropped. But the case of the 55 yr old man being assaulted shows the typical signs of cocaine psychosis. She accused him of having sex with her mother, and of stealing jewelry from her in high school. After filing assault charges, and two restraining orders against her, the man never saw her again.
Here's the description of her first day in court: "She laughed and snickered so much during her court hearing last weekend that the judge admonished her. The attorney who represented her only for her arraignment said she acted the same way with him when he tried to speak with her. He had no further comment."
Mass media reports from the Wall Street Journal indicate that the defense lawyer who represented her in court at arraignment will not be handling her defense case, due to Ms Menendez's present state, which indicates either bipolar mania or, most likely, cocaine psychosis.
I really feel for the Menendez family, but their right not to make public comment to mass media indicates that the stigma of mental illness makes their privacy necessary. It also indicates that the Menendez family are afraid of public scrutiny due to the nature of Ms. Menendez's crime.
Ms Menendez's case also shows that her family may not have the resources to place her in a private psychiatric clinic.
Her non-compliance shows that she is in denial of her psychiatric condition, mainly due to the social stigma caused by her erratic and often violent behavior.
Since her diagnosis with bipolar disorder, her use of violence in committing her hate crimes indicates the possibility of recreational drug use. It also indicates that she strongly resents her diagnosis, as indicated by non-compliance of medication.
In light of Ms. Menendez's behavior before her arrest, she needs to be rediagnosed. The Wall Street Journal's news article makes no indication that this has been done but the Huffington Post indicates that a psychiatric evaluation has been requested and will be presented when court determines if she is fit to stand trial on January 14, 2013.
My synopsis regarding Menendez is, Hispanic woman kills South Asian man due to misdirected bias against South Asian and Middle Eastern men in wake of 9-11. Her psychiatric history indicates psychopathic escalation of violence. When she becomes manic, she goes off her medication and resorts to cocaine abuse.
Her past behavior suggests unresolved issues with fathers, brothers and male cousins. Thus, Ms Menendez could be cast as a victim of the patriarchy, since she may have been exposed to anti-Muslim propaganda without confounding information. Thus she fell for the logical fallacies inherent in such propaganda. However, she acted as a bully in reaction to hatred for Hindus and Muslims because the propaganda confirmed her misdirected bias — it is safer to hate Hindus and Muslims than to hate loved ones such as fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters since the former are outside the family group.
By spreading the propaganda of anti-Muslim factions among the right-wing politicians with the aim of unjustly daemonizing Muslims, mass media only sows the seed of hate crime in a young mind warped by decadent hedonism and unwilling to mature into a woman in control of her life.

In a related murder on the subway weeks earlier, Ki-Suck Han, 58, was pushed onto subway tracks by Naeem Davis. I bet mass media is going to suppress reporting on the enmity between the Korean community and Black community in the wake of the Rodney King riots. Heightened Security Risks Invasion of Privacy
Even the Broadwell-Petraeus fiasco in the US demonstrates how privacy concerns are ignored when security is risked.
This has been going on for some times prior to 9-11.
The last time I visited my hometown in Aldergrove, at the town corner of 272 St and Fraser Hwy, there are two cameras. One is a hi def camera to record license plates of vehicles going west and north.
There also is a pedestrian camera near the north west corner. You can tell this is a pedestrian camera as it is not as large as the hi def camera.
Closer to home, at 72 Ave on Scott Rd, there are two pedestrian camera for east west and north south traffic.
There are also cameras at Scott Rd and Nordel Way.
Overall, I'd feel safer if we had peace officers on foot. Tho that practice was done away with after the assaults and killings of foot police circa 1950 and before.
As well, there is no guarantee a policeman walking the beat is more law abiding than the average citizen is.
Read the history about Vancouver police, Edmonton police, and Winnipeg police.
Overall, a Christian belonging to a conservative denomination (Baptists ) is less likely to be corrupt than a policeman.
However, Jehovah Witnesses are more likely to have dealt with adultery, drug abuse, and fraternizing with prostitutes in their history; this may also be true of all denominations where most of the people who report Christian as their badge of spirituality do not pray daily and only go to church once a week i.e. nominally Christian).
It also depends on whether the person is from the country or lived in cities. Corruption depends on your willingness to condone crime in the city in fear of your life, and likewise, your willingness to report crime in the town because it's what anyone believes in his smalltown believes.

Adbusters implies that, by declaring war against terrorism, America confirmed being a victim to terrorism. Rather than being inspired to promote peace, the GW Bush government chose instead the forever war that has been the legacy of terrorism.
Yet the State now sees its country and the world through the myopic lens of a post-911 future where fear of terrorism has led to racial profiling, illegal body searches and x-ray technology that violates privacy.

War on Terror Not Religious
Regardless of anything to the contrary, the American-led "war on terrorism" isn't really a religious war at all.
Rather, this is the legacy of 6000 years of androcratic devolution of human
civilization.
Even so-called primitive tribals of India are being forced into Hinduism
just because they are more equalitarian than Hindus by not practising the
degenerate practice of child marriage.
This is proof that the so-called primitives are more civilized than the
so-called civilized Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs.
Likewise for similar "civilized" practices of Judaism, including biting off
parts of a male infant's foreskin during cricumcision, and equating
anti-Americanism with anti-Semitism (thus pretending to "own" America).
And ditto for similar practices of Christianity such as obstructing traffic
in Vancouver on a busy street so that some protestors get run over
by buses, condemning abortion killers yet not being vocal in decrying such
violent acts which are equally heinous to abortion, Protestants endorsing US
foreign policy, Catholic clergy playing politics in 3rd world nations but
leaving their flock to face trumped up charges when genocide occurs,
continuing the war on drugs whilst turning a blind eye to alcoholism,
cigarette smoking and abuse of legal drugs, etc.
The same goes for other organized religions, including Theravada in Sri
Lanka, where a Buddhist who pretended to be a monk assassinated the head of
state and subsequently converted to Catholicism, thus proving a link between
the See and radicalism in Sri Lankan politics. This is also evident in
Dali, East Timor since the rebellion there was supported by the Indonesian
Bishop.
All of this does not prove that a religious war is in progress.
Instead it shows that Mr. Gandhi was correct in assessing the role of
religion in politics when he declared that those who believe that religion
has nothing to do with politics, do not know religion at all.
Indeed, religion is where politics originated.
Thus it's all power politics in the name of Allah, God, Yahweh, or the other
997 names of God.
It's also a legacy of 6000 years of the decline of "civilization."
For it's all because of men subjugating women and using God to excuse such
misogyny, just because androcratic men in power fear the prospect of
equalitarian partnerships with women!
I suggest people look up "gylanic+androcratic" and see how many hits you
get, and research this matter thoroughly.

Why America Invaded Iraq

The invasion of Iraq circa AD 2003 had to do with making oil and water a commodity to be bought and sold, mainly to profit Big Business.
Indeed, there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. There were no Iraqis who participated in or endorsed 9-11. All there was was the inaction of good men so that they may later profit from the sacrifice of over 3,000 lives, and countless lives more.
Not surprisingly, the newsmedia only quietly mentioned the energy lobby's role in the War on Terrorism, and focused on the war and the world after 9-11.
For the War on Terrorism was and is a marketable commodity in the world of news and Big Business.
Various scandals involving prominent politicians have drawn attention to the close links between the Energy Lobby and the U.S. government, particularly the influence wielded by the Energy Lobby in the Bush administration. In June 2005, documents emerged that revealed that the Bush administration had consulted Exxon regarding its stance on the Kyoto protocol. According to The Guardian "In briefing papers given before meetings to the US under-secretary of state, Paula Dobriansky, between 2001 and 2004, the administration is found thanking Exxon executives for the company's 'active involvement' in helping to determine climate change policy, and also seeking its advice on what climate change policies the company might find acceptable."
In November 2005, documents revealed that Vice President Dick Cheney's Energy Task Force met with executives from large oil companies, although chief executives of those companies denied involvement before the Senate Energy and Commerce committees. Environmentalists were not allowed access to the Energy Task Force’s activities, which was responsible for developing a national energy policy.
Oil companies also participated with Cheney's task force in a discussion of Iraqi oilfields, refineries and other energy infrastructure, and two charts detailing Iraqi oil and gas projects, and "Foreign Suitors for Iraqi Oilfield Contracts." The documents are dated two years before the Invasion of Iraq.
