Looks like Meredith's parents have fallen for the Italian police lies implicating Amanda without evidence, based on how she behaved under questioning.
As well her ex-BF is baffled why he was convicted. I'm going to go with revenge by Kercher's parents after being groomed to believe the police's false evidence against Knox.

Ah shit: Feminists Don't Get It Right

All these stories miss the girlfriend mentioned in a few other reports. However, let a man tell of the aftermath of Lepine's murder spree:
My problem with the White Ribbon Campaign is not that it is trying to help female victims of violence, or that it is working towards gun-control.
My problem with the White Ribbon Campaign is that it offers up a cartoon in place of a schematic.
Most men don't rape, don't beat, and don't murder their partners. Most men don't get into drunken brawls and murder whoever dissed them at the bar.
My problem with the White Ribbon Campaign is that it uses the image of Marc Lepine to stand in for a very complex social problem. It is a way of making us feel good about ourselves without addressing the real (and much more difficult) problem of domestic violence itself.
The problem isn't just that some individual men kill women. The problem is that some individual men and a much smaller number of women kill other men.
Leaving aside the minority of those murderers who are clinically insane - who murder because a leprechaun on their shoulder tells them to - what we are dealing with is a problem of violence.

Statistically, more men are killed by other men every year than women are. In fact, it's about 75 percent of murders. Yes, one in four of murder victims are women. However, 90 percent of murderers are men.
To use Marc Lepine's murder spree as a memorial is to distort the truth: violent men do violence to men, women and sometimes children without discretion.
As well, the media painted Marc as a quiet loner. Yet they rarely fully explain why.
In fact, child abuse and domestic abuse, let alone family violence, is never mentioned by feminists outside of context with violence against women and the endemic violence perpetrated within the context of patriarchy.
Ironically, the start of the US's entry into WW2 was also on December 7, 1941 - war is proof that men are sometimes called upon to do violence against other men, women and children for the greater good. Even so, it helps to reconcile with the innocent victims of war.
Let us not forget that most violence against women is the result of domestic and family violence, including Lepine's murder spree.
More violence has been done against men by men.
Let's stop pretending violence against women is an epidemic, for the real epidemic is that more and more men (and women and children) are victims of violence!
Let's stop violence, now.

The Pizza Hut Murder is a Hate Crime (satire)
Raicism is alive in Tennessee where a guy in the Army got busted for the Pizza Hut killing. Then another former army guy decided to get less time for his robbery of a store nearby way before the murders happened by lying about being at the scene of the crime.
Funny thing is, the murderer was the lone gunman and black. So he got life for killing four of his coworkers, all of whom were white.
Even funnier is the other guy was white, and got convicted and sent to jail for life as accessory for saying he was the getaway driver, even though he perjured himself.
We really need to prevent this kind of racism, because it isn't the usual white on black BS.
It's white lawyers versus blacks and their token whites. That kind of racism results in an innocent white man getting sentenced for life. His family is thanking God he got out of jail.
I thought Eminem was out there to prevent this kind of racism of poor white men who hang with their black buddies, and provide alibis.
Oh wait! Eminem is too rich to fit in such a crowd, just because that part of Tennessee is economically depressed.

Love with an Iron Fist
When shit goes bad, tell your parents.
It's worth the scolding, which is a sign of LOVE. Only a parent who truly loves and cares for his or her child will scold them. Those parents who say not are guilty of child neglect.
All neglect does is show to a child that they are free to do ANYTHING, even kill.
So if you see a peer doing anything they want, then gently scold them. Even if they beat you up, you have done the right thing.
However, even a person who shows his peers his or her loving nature does not stand for violent confrontation when they act out.
Love still must be tempered by nn iron fist.

The Upper Class Commits 13 Times the Crime As the Poor
The upper class commits far more crime than the lower class. Street criminals stole $15.3 billion in 1993, but white collar-criminals embezzled $200 billion. Street criminals murdered 23,271 people that year, but the decisions of profit-driven corporations murdered at least 318,368 (through pollution, consumer and worker safety violations, etc.) Corporations deserve blame for these deaths because they lobby for and enact policies which drive up these death rates. Virtually all other rich countries have higher safeguards and lower death rates.
Back in 1993, corporations killed over 300,000 people in America a year, and probably 29,000 Canadians. Today, the annual death rate in Canada in 2002 is around 290,000 while in the US it is about 2,400,000.
I'm not sure how to reduce this death rate. However, the solution would not be found by enacting more laws or even by targeting white-collar crime.
As the recent HSBC scandal regarding money laundering in Mexico has shown, employment recruitment may not have had the required security checks needed to reduce corruption within the banking industry.
Indeed, there needs to be more accountability in white collar jobs along with greater transparency, despite resistance to the idea of a corporation being accountable and transparent in its management.

Honor Killings Are Still Murder
I could quote from news articles from Middle Eastern and African nations where more madness goes on that is more common than child abuse deaths in America.
In one Middle Eastern country, a Yazidi girl fell in love with a Muslim boy, and the Yazidi menfolk demanded that the Yazidi sheik protecting her release her to her family. Or else.
So the sheik did so, whilst urging the men not to harm her. She ended up stoned to death, merely for falling in love with a Muslim boy.
In Egypt, Coptic girls are routinely harassed by men of Salafi Islam sect, merely for being Christian. The Egyptian government usually looks the other way.
In Libya, blood feuds are going on right now, just because a handful of clans supported its former leader Gadaffi. Yet we never hear any stories from the women of Libya. In fact, the West has been repeatedly told to mind their own business.
In Somalia, a 13-year old girl was stoned to death for reporting a rape to the militia. Before the stoning, witnesses to the rape tried to rescue the child but were shot by militia members.
Imagine how many deaths of Syrian girls are happening right now just because their brother, cousin, or father is a rebel.
However, honor killings are still murder, yet because of the Law of Hammurabi, the men in those countries will get away with it.
Then think about the Palestinian girls caught in the bombing of the Gaza strip by Israel in November 2012, left shell shocked and mourning their loved ones.
I know of one story where a Palestinian girl was shot by an Israeli sniper.
While that's not an honor killing, it is proof that Israel is willing to do anything to keep the big business of warfare alive so the right-wing and religious parties could dominate Israeli politics, using the victimhood of anti-Semitism to ensure its popular vote.
With recent Israeli elections in January 2013, though, the government's political stance has moved slightly to the left from right. Currently the left / centre / Arab parties took 59 seats while the right-wing / religious parties took 61.
All of this killing is terrorism in the Middle East, whereas in America, instead of terrorists, we get school shooters making news during Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and the return to school at the end of August.

Manjit Panghali's Husband and Brother-in-law Caught
Manjit's husband and brother-in-law were jailed in connection with her murder.
My guess is Manjit wanted her brother-in-law out of the house due to stalking his ex-girlfriend in Richmond.
In retaliation, both brothers killed her.
Was it Sikh culture that conditioned them to act this way? No.
Was it Hindu culture? No.
Rather, it was a misunderstanding of Sikh principles about how to be men. I'd say mainstream Sikh values played a small part in Manjit's death.
By killing Manjit, both the brothers Panghali are only two Indo-Canadian men subject to Canadian law.

Cops Lied When Robert Dziekanski Died
The video shows the cops shock Robert Dziekanski three times but supposedly one Taser was used twice. As well, both cops use their Tasers.
The video shows that four officers were present, while the cops contend that there were three.
This is proof that they lied to save their asses and that their real motive in keeping the video was to continue to lie and offer only their version of events.
As well, the officers agreed to use Tasers only, despite the fact that the man was no threat to anyone and that an interpreter could have been called at any time because the airport knew he was from Poland and so did Customs.
This death did not have to happen, but was carefully planned and orchestrated. As well, it was a knee-jerk response with a conspiracy to use a Taser when the situation never called for it.

In essence, Robert Dziekanski was murdered by the Canadian government and all the events leading to his death were due to the bungling of both the airport (for not getting an interpreter) and the RCMP (who never considered any other method other than use of Tasers).
Suddenly I do not feel safe around the RCMP anymore.

The Shame of South Asia in Canada
This post is for Manjit Panghalia and Amanpreet Kaur Bahia, brave martyrs of traditionalism and its misogyny of South Asian women.
Let not a day go by that their murderers feel guilt and shame for their horrible deeds.
Let not a day go by that the oppressors of wives and daughters are reminded that their actions bring guilt and shame to the South Asian community.
Even Baba Nanak hangs his head in shame.

Alcohol consumption preceded rape-murder in Iraq
A soldier cited in U.S. court documents as the first witness told investigators that Green and three others drank alcohol and discussed rape. They then told the soldier to keep watch on the radio as they set off for the house, some in civilian clothes.
This once again shows that alcohol aided in the reduction of inhibition to commit rape and murder.
However, this does not excuse any of the five participants in this crime.
Nor does Green's "personality disorder" excuse him by reason of insanity.
Yet his antipathy towards Iraqis showed that with enough "courage" he might incite such a crime.
Men such as Green are not only a threat to families in foreign lands, but also to one third of all female troops.
Maybe it's time to water down the hooch.
