Nowhere in the Bible does it state that Satan is the author of evil, for this is blasphemy. Rather, God is author of good-and-evil, which is the complement of good and evil.
For man is not only capable of great evil but also great good.
All that the devil can do is accuse or tempt us. We are perfectly capable of making mistakes on our own when temptation leads to desire.
Of course, the devil exists in Christendom. However, the devil never made a person do anything. That's merely an excuse for being wicked until one is damned by ill will.
This is why it's important to attend church regularly, and serve the church selflessly to renew your covenant with God.
That's what repentance is about.
Although God is the author of good-and-evil, people are the authors of their own destiny.
Inspired by the Journey to the West, Gandhara is devoted to both Western and Eastern Truth.
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ - Hail the Lord whose name eliminates spiritual darkness.
Om Ganeshaya Namaha (ॐ गणेशाय नमः) - Homage to Ganesha.
Unconditional love tranquilizes the mind, and thus conquers all.

Destiny (poem)
He who looks at someone's misfortune,
and laughs with glee
is himself devoid of compassion.
She who looks at someone's good fortune,
with great envy
is herself unfortunate.
On hearing of misfortune,
cry with the unfortunate ones.
In this way do the wise develop compassion.
On learning of someone's fortune,
be happy for them.
That is all the wise wish for others.
For fortune and misfortune are
two sides of the coin called "destiny",
and those of us who choose
to see clearly will follow theirs.
and laughs with glee
is himself devoid of compassion.
She who looks at someone's good fortune,

Use Sadness to Seek Your Destiny
The whole purpose of life is to become whole, so that when you choose your love, you choose out of a sense of wholeness, rather than to complete what you are missing inside.
In order to be whole, each one of us works to completely nurture both the inner feminine and masculine until we remember our original nature.
In doing so, you are free to use your deepest sadness to fulfill your destiny.
For this is the purpose of depression and anxiety: inspiration to never give up on the goal to remember each one of us was, is, and will always be whole and complete in the depths of the mind.

Nym Nym (poem)
Heaps of rubbish piled high in the sky,
a wind comes along, and the heaps change sizes
but the heaps remain: life's like that, I say.
You do something for someone else, but no surprizes.
Rub another's back, aim to satisfy:
this is the stuff of karma,
everyone's dharma.
What you owe, you work yourself to the bone to pay.
Life is like this, each action is not hit or miss.
Life is like this, everyone may achieve bliss.
Nym nym, everyone has a nym on the Internet
Nym nym, anonymity is the rule, not the exception
Nym nym, yeah. Nym nym, yeah.
Nym nym, nobody is really anonymous but
Nym nym, everyone buys into this deception
Nym nym, yeah. Nym nym, yeah.
Yet there are the misinformed who to their dying day
pretend that their good lot in life is inherited.
From generation to generation they maintain their class
In a manner quite arbitrary and unmerited.
"Your karmic debt you must continually pay,
for yours and your ancestors; just give us no sass!"
This view is not at all karma:
It corrupts the dharma,
Anyone who perverts it this way is an ass!
Life soon falls apart, when man forces karma like this.
Life comes to an end miserably for all without bliss.
Nym nym, everyone has a nym on the Internet
Nym nym, anonymity is the rule, not the exception
Nym nym, yeah. Nym nym, yeah.
Nym nym, nobody is really anonymous but
Nym nym, everyone buys into this deception
Nym nym, yeah. Nym nym, yeah.
Yes, it's true that everyone makes their destiny!
Yes, it's true that no one may sit idly to get their reward!
Yet those who abuse the dharma also suffer karma,
and get their just desserts without fail like an award.
So carefully tread this present life, or misery
is your constant reward as karma.
In living right practise the dharma.
All choices in life, to make we are free.
Life is like this, each action is not hit or miss.
Life is like this, everyone may achieve bliss.

* The above poem is based on Nim ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nim ), in that karma is a living dynamic not fixed by man yet is neither good nor bad, though right action begets further karma. In Hindu society, the art of following dharma is to not follow it so rigidly that you cause unnecessary suffering to self and, especially, to others. Thus, tradition is not really dharma at all, but the root of current evil both in society and on the Internet.

Karma is not the same as kismet
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival last week to a Hong Kong TV channel, Stone, 50, said: “I’m not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else.
“And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice bad things happen to you.”
Karma is not like that at all.
What Sharon Stone is referring to is what is commonly known to Muslims and Arabs as kismet, and what the West knows as predestination i.e that a previous sin will lead to a trial similar to what tested Job. It could also be seen as destiny, because that implies that one's choices influences one's destiny, and that one's bad decision leads to punishment by God.
Specifically regarding karma, it is NEUTRAL, but humans judge a particular situation as bad or good arbitrarily. However, each situation calls for a code of ethics to be followed according to the circumstances.
It only feels right to say wrong action in the past begets bad karma in the future. Why not just use the term "destiny"? Or "kismet?"
Anyone who views karma in terms of an absolute "one-size-fits-all" code of ethics is totally missing the point of Buddhism and Hinduism.
Karma actually works within the framework of situational ethics i.e. under these circumstances, these past actions end up in passing on karma by our actions which is like setting up a row of dominoes, die by die.
Just like dominoes falling, the mishandling of a situation may result in a future result as the karma of the previous action is passed on, but only man judges it to be good or bad, according to his whims.
Therefore there is no such thing as "bad" or "good" with respect to karma.

Short Meditation on Alternative Medicine And Its Spiritual Roots
In the post-modern era, anti-psychiatry is in vogue. Medications usually induce the very symptoms they are supposed to suppress. Benzodiazepines are notorious for causing suppressed anxiety, sedation and other effects which leads to more anxiety, insomnia and even seizures.
I can think of better medication using rhodiola, 5HTP, valerian, skullcap, and hearty Indian food.
If you combine this with meditation techniques and positive thinking, then stress can be handled, nervousness will reduce, anxiety will fade, and smile will always be quickly found.
All it takes is dedication and practise.
As a Buddhist I know this. The earlier one realizes that one's role in the world is to awaken others to their spiritual destiny, the better.
For such an awakening is the key to becoming better people, even if one does not become famous or successful or even a rich person.
Indeed, true wealth is found in being humble and not being attention to one's self.
At the root of this wealth is unconditional love.
