Possible Careers for Today's Disaffected Youth (satire)

In addition to the traditional career path of public school education, post-secondary education and career applicable to are of study declared in third or fourth year, I suggest the following path to providing meaning in one's life if not income.

  1. Study ninjitsu and become a vigilante superhero at night
  2. Become a cop
  3. Volunteer at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen

Your first part-time job as vigilante requires a lot of ninjitsu, and probably very expensive to pursue since you may have to study in Japan and learn the language. However, you could graduate from college first and become an ESL teacher in Japan. While there, you could also become a vigilante against Yakusa. Though, being a gaijin might not protect you from retribution unless you learn the soft art of stealth and avoiding being unmasked when knocking off confirmed Yakuza members.

Also remember that ninjutsu teachers will never introduce you to their ninja clans unless you learn to be more Japanese than they are. It is most likely that such a teacher belongs to a clan that the Japanese government retains secretly to spy on yakuzas. However, it is unlikely that your work will be appreciated in Japan since officially ninjas who kill people are criminals, even when knocking off Yakuza.

Additionally, yakuza do retain ninja clans to do their spying and assassinations if they don't want to be detected. This is mainly because ninja experts leave few clues that point to who did the hit. The really good ones even clean up after slitting the throats of their targets. This includes removal of blood splatters and especially the wearing of gloves. As well, they never use guns, unlike the amateur guns that yakuza traditionally hire when they are fighting other yakuza groups and the government. There will be no witnesses either, because ninja usually kidnap children whose parents they have to kill to train to be ninja assassins, too.

However, don't be a Newport Ninja.

This is why I consider criminals assassinating their rivals to have consistently botched their jobs. I guess they are too cheap to retain ninja assassins and have yet to consider that route anyway. Until then, they are going to get caught eventually.

So why even bother?

As for the second suggestion, I am assuming this is the career for most criminology students. You are not there just to become a criminologist; you are there to be a cop with criminologist skills in forensics and the works. That way, you get a better pay as a cop. As well, you could also become an FBI agent or a criminal profiler (or its equivalent in another country).

It might even help to have ninja skills. It never hurts to have a hobby related to police work. Additionally, you will know in advance if a ninja hit squad wants you dead.

As for the third suggestion, you need to be a liberal to consider to volunteer to work at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen. So your degree is going to be in social work.

It still would be cool to keep the ninja hobby because the tips you get from the homeless could help you turn captured drug dealers over to police and robbing corrupt politicians making money off the suffering of the homeless to share with the homeless.

Usually captured dealers will be phoned in after being knocked out and left in a safe place, usually their homes. Then the vigilante just uses a prepaid cell phone to give details to CrimeStoppers and pick up the $1000 to share with the homeless.

In short, I suggest you become a modern day Robin Hood ninja whose day job is either a cop or national policeman or social worker.

Disinformation about Grow-ops in Canada Fueled By Anti-Marijuana Propaganda (satire)

When you look over the statistics about marijuana grow-ops in Canada, the follow three facts become apparent:

  1. One in twenty grow-ups in Canada are related to gangs and criminal activity.
  2. 6 percent of all grow-ups have guns.
  3. Police overestimate the number of grow-up by 100 percent — if police estimate 100 grow-ops in a city, then there actually only 50.
Apparently the Ministry of Justice ignores these facts and the Harper government justified the harsher marijuana laws in the Narcotics Control Act by acting on the disinformation the police presented regarding grow-ops. Thus the result of such laws is to criminalize 95 percent of grow-ops, which are mom and pop operations. As well, 94 percent of grow-ops are clean of firearms. Yet both the mainstream media and the police routine claim otherwise, in order to justify harsh penalties in the section of the Narcotics Control Act regarding marijuana. Therefore the marijuana laws are based on fallacies perpetuated by the various police forces across Canada. Thus they are based on propaganda not facts. For our elected politicians base their decisions about marijuana based on #propaganda that over-inflates of the facts about marijuana grow-ops. Therefore the marijuana laws are based on hyperbole not truth. In essence, the mass media news outlets and police forces in Canada ignore and suppress the truth about grow-ops to justify marijuana prohibition. A law based on fallacies is a law that profits the State and penalizes the People unjustly. Hiding the truth about marijuana grow-ops scares the one-percent so much that their anti-marijuana lobbyists contribute to the cultural genocide of harmless marijuana advocates, most of whom are law-abiding citizens with no ties to gangs. Taxpayers are being duped into thinking marijuana grow-ops are criminal operations, when only 5 percent of grow-ops are run by gangs, and only 6 percent of all grow-op cases are associated with firearms. IMO the only purpose of the anti-marijuana hype is to make it seem as though the Harper government is doing something about gangs and criminal activity associated with marijuana. It only proves the continued criminalization of marijuana will continue to be a game of political one-upmanship. For the disinformation about marijuana grow-ops in Canada — especially in British Columbia — is fuelled by the anti-marijuana propaganda machine consisting of mass media news outlets and police forces across Canada.

A Picture Paints a Thousand Words

It is very dangerous to whip out your smartphone and video a police takedown from your front yard. If the cops see you, then they could arrest you for "obstructing justice" when all you are doing is watching the police.

In Canada, legal advice has it that it is illegal to take a picture of a person who may be identified in it and subject to slander, libel and similar injustices.

However, there is also a 50-foot exception since beyond this point, you need an expensive DSL camera to refine details in a picture.

Yet the state of technology of a camera depends on the resolution of a photo. If you choose a picture resolution of under 2048x1536, then picture quality will suffer for subjects 50 feet away from the camera lens.

E.g. the camera in my smartphone has a 8 megapixel (mp) resolution, which means a resolution of 3264x2448, which allows for more detail.

However at 50 feet, a 8 mp resolution still isn't so clear that a person is identifiable, considering that without anti-jitter and at low light levels, the image will still be blurry.

Cameras do the best with detail with portraits, up close.

At 50 feet, picture detail is compromised by low resolution and jitter.

Thus, taking pictures of State action with a smartphone at a distance of 50 feet of more isn't actually illegal. Given the quality of the image, it's possible to create reasonable doubt about anyone identified in the picture.

Therefore, it is imperative for social activists to enforce a 50-foot rule for known agents of the State. However, this means ponying up money to pay for this right.

Seattle Police Racial Profile Black Men & Lose Evidence

I looked at this newscast and thought, "Looks like those novels about police covering their ass are true."

Sometimes, they also wait until felons with a history of violence are out again hurt or kill someone before they step in.

Of course, being pro-active would ruin this kind of crime-fighting.

This may be why witnesses who don't want to be involved impede justice.

Just because the perpetrators the police are looking for are given a general description, this kind of bias needs to be pointed out in training.

Recent Events Prove State Terrorism Proven to be Mother of All Terrorism

The recent teenaged suicide in BC and the online mob forming along with the misinformation due to the cyber-bullies' hidden agenda is unsurprising. Likewise, the prostitution issue in a sleepy Eastcoast town only further proves my original generalization about terrorism.

It is proof that the State, be it police or other agents of the State, including those of the People who are willing to pay more taxes for more police and control of others of the People, does practice terrorism on the People.

However, we do not view it as terrorism because the State regulates the level of violence by its agents.

If any of the People go on to bully and terrorize others, then my contention that State terrorism is the mother of all terrorism is proven.

Yes, I am accusing both the cyberbullies and the agents of the State of terrorism: cyber-bullies are online terrorists when they harass any member of the People unmercifully to the point of suicide, and police and other agents of the State are agents of State terrorism when they shame a targeted sector of the People repeatedly.

Thus, when the sheep (the bullied and the sector of the People who passively watch the terrorism being acted out both online and in real life) look up, they should be aware that if their outrage to being terrorized results in the same kind of behavior as their bullies, their oppressers, and their handlers, then they too become bullies, too.

However, the continued dialogue is important as long as each and every person is able to use the forum of public opinion to air their side of this current war on online bullying.

For no one here is innocent, not even I.

Why Police Should Not Use Marijuana

Police makes call to Emergency.

The hilarious part is when the cops says he and his wife are dying, adding that "time is going by slowly."

Definitely, the paranoia is due to having no clue that one of the side effects of THC is "impaired sense of time."
