Back in late 2006, the following rant by me was posted. Today, Nicole Richie might be abusing drugs, possibly due to stress caused by a failed relationship. However, Hilary Duff is off the mainstream media radar. Even Perez Hilton is silent about Duff.
As for Lindsay Lohan, look for my recent repost of a previous blog article about Lindsay Lohan, who recently admitted to Oprah that alcohol is a gateway to drugs and more drugs.
However, I don't need to post URLs in here to complain about the tabloid gossip about Duff being pissed off just because Nicole has stolen her man back in 2006.
Why is Duff pissed off at Nicole and branding her a "skank"? WTF is up with that? It sounds like another celebrity cat fight seven years ago. Today it's old news.
I personally think this was just BS by gossip tabloids like TMZ and Perez Hilton.
Until I read that piece of trashy gossip I was happy that at least Lindsay Lohan is showing some common sense and seeking help from the crazy BS that substitutes for reality for celebrities these days.
I mean, really!!
In response to the utter bull crap passing for "news" in the mainstream media, I would like to declare that me choosing to be poor and a nobody who seldom drinks but often smokes cigarettes makes me morally superior to those celebrities.
In my opinion, their acting out and get reported by the news is making them millions from loyal fans. This also includes Justin Bieber, who was busted in Florida and had to face the music in Toronto in a legal matter, as well as the estate of the late actor's actor, Phillip Hoffman.

Mass Media Perpetuates Propaganda In Wake of Shooting
By not reassuring the American people, CNN, Fox News and other mass media outlets have once again used propaganda to unnecessarily scare its viewers.
By perpetuating social stigma against mentally ill people, viewers who think they are mentally ill will hide at home because of the delusion perpetuated by this propaganda that they might be dangerous to others.
God forbid that they make the mistake of buying a gun!
Therefore I will emphasize once again that Adam Lanza most likely killed his mother, 20 children and 6 adults because his mother improperly stored her guns.
His motive was simple: jealous rage at his mother for neglecting him due to her hobby.
For he was afraid of being deprived of the close proximity to his mother by being sent to an institution suited to meet his need for a disciplined, orderly and regular environment.
Therefore, mental illness has nothing to do with this tragedy.
For Adam Lanza was not crazy: he was in a rage due to the fear reaction he had at the prospect of being deprived of his mother's love.
While this may sound irrational to a mature adult, it is reasonable speculation on my part to suggest this scenario, rather than the propaganda that mass media outlets peddle which socially stigmatizes the mentally ill, who are four times more like to be a victim of violence than to harm another person.
We also do not need the NRA to peddle this propaganda, too.
As well, the other propaganda being peddled is the "rising murder rate". In fact, murder rates are higher in cities with 250,000+ people than in rural towns with 10,000 people, but are slightly less than they were 20 years ago, in America.
Easy access to firearms is the sole problem. When you have one immature individual, you might have a mass school killer. It makes no difference about their gender or whether they are mentally ill.
This is a crime of passion by a young man whose own mother had fears of her own about the world. Those fears were exhibited by her growing interest in survivalism and in firearms (her hobby), which includes firearms training for both her and her son.
Quite possibly, she may have also favoured Adam to the point of inculcating in him the seeds of dependency. Today we have no way of knowing this, because both he and his mother are dead.

Mass Media A Propaganda Tool That Only Paints Authentic Pictures of Success
Anyone ever notice that the majority of celebrities come from good homes? Not one rags to riches story among them?
Gad, now I know why they have problems acting poor authentically in a show or movie, especially on soap operas.
I feel Traffik was more authentic than Silence of the Lambs, as even Hannibal Lector and his dead sister were born of good parents. His psychopathy had to do with the evil of other men who kills his sister, and his inability to let go of anger. I do not believe anger should ever be allowed to be vented in a violent manner.
Rather anger requires loving-kindness to transmute into compassion and a righteous concern for the welfare of others.
However, killing brings everyone down to their lowest denominator: survival.
Mercy in contrast needs compassion and loving-kindness to throw away the Law of Hammurabi and replace it with Roman-based laws, of which most of Western civilization is based.
It also takes an act of mercy for a celebrity to actually see a poor person as a human being. Charlie Sheen.sometimes acts out of mercy when he's sober, more so than when he's either drunk or high on recreational drugs, as is evidenced by his ex-wives and ex-girlfriends, not all of whom are on a higher road than the one he travels. Mercy is derived from the power of humility to transform a person's life.
Though, I don't take the moral high ground on the matter of celebrities. For the moral code according to Hollywood are mean and despicable, and ought not judge the poor, and the inaccurate portrayals of people on poverty are indeed telling.
Unlike today, when you look at an old movie and the family is portrayed authentically as poor, the movie is in black and white, so you know it represents a time when becoming a celebrity was a rags to riches story.
Based on what I have observed so far, watching movies and reading the newspaper, mass media is manufacturing propaganda to urge consumers to lead productive lives so that they might be able to meet their favourite celebrity.
I don't think Hollywood can accurately portray poverty because hardly any actor ever goes that far into the rural Midwest or even Kentucky and Tennessee to be that accurate.
Often a news story focuses on a crime but the widening gap between the rich and the poor is overlooked because such details tend to politicize the crime and turn it into a moral drama.
Yet the purpose of mass media's obsession with success is to motivate consumers to become financially successful.
In doing so, mass media is complicit in manufacturing the myths about poverty and failure, which are just as exaggerated as the myths about wealth and success.
Indeed, we may need more stories about riches to rags to riches which may be more authentic than the stereotypical rags to riches story.
As well, to even out the mix, a few riches to rags stories could be told by a narcissistic homeless person. ;)
In my case, I live my life authentically as one of the millions of people known as the working poor. Since my father worked on the green chain at a sawmill, he would be one of the many working class poor. Most definitely, ours was a modest family financially.
So mass media wouldn't be knocking at my door because a consumerist society craves only success stories. In this way is mass media the biggest propaganda tool of the 1 percent manufacturing myths about the reality of poverty with any authenticity in its various portrayals.
That's because the writers are unable to get a sense of what it is like to be poor since it would not sell very well in the box office.
That's what makes mass media a propaganda tool for the myth of success.

Homegrown Terrorism Not Just Militant Islamic Terrorists
Militant Christianity is no different from militant Islam. The OKC bombing is one example that terrorism isn't exclusively Muslim.

While it can be said that Tamil Tigers was an example of Hindu militancy against State oppression by the Sri Lankan government, it was due to enforcement of Theravada Buddhism as state religion. This is an example where subtle State terrorism is proven to be the mother of all terrorism.
White supremacist terrorism was inspired by Waco, which has become a paramilitary organization due to the ideology of the church David Koresh took over at gunpoint. This too is a form of terrorism.
In Israel, Jewish militants are found among the Hasidic Jews, who are the reason why the Hamas are in West Bank. Strategically, Israel has called the militants "fellow Jews" and labelled the Hamas an extremely dangerous terrorist organization dedicated to wiping Israel off the maps.

Note to Mass Media: Stop Putting Amanda Bynes in a Bad Light
I object to the unflattering pictures of Amanda Bynes being used.
This is only manufacturing the fallacy that Amanda Bynes is in the midst of a meltdown.
As well, the articles attacking Bynes have very little verification from a third-party health official sound byte.
In short, mass media outlets are complicit in manufacturing the rumor that Bynes is not right in the head. All of it is just a careful ploy to peddle your paper based on your vile contempt for Amanda Bynes.
Mass media did the same thing to Amy Winehouse and recently, Justin Bieber. You're not publishing the truth anymore. You're just using bits and pieces of facts to perpetuate stigma against mental illness to profit from.

Sadly though when mass media plays arm-chair psychiatry on celebrities, they manufacture the illusion that their target is mentally ill.
In essence, mass media is used as form of social control of not only celebrities but also society itself.

However, today's women use the Pill to get the same play men have been getting since the dawn of post-modern society with mass media propagandizing youth and the meme "thin is healthy and sexy" to the point where young men are exposed to pedogenic influences both on TV and in computer media.

Stochastic Terrorism
First the news story:
Three Hispanic youths (two teens and one adult) are out for a night of skating, but on trying to find their friend's place, they happen on 69-year old Phillip Sailors' place by accident. That's when Sailors comes out of the house, thinking it's a home invasion. He takes one shot in the air to warn off the youths.
Just as the driver, 22-year-old Rodrigo Abad Diaz apologizes to the homeowner while driving away, he is killed with one shot. Later, after police have sorted everything out, they charged Phillip Sailors with "murder with malice."

According to the KOS, the stochastic terrorist is the person who uses mass media to broadcast memes that incite unstable people to commit violent acts. One or more unstable people responds to the incitement by becoming a lone wolf and committing a violent act.
The stochastic terrorist then has plausible deniability: "Oh, it was just a lone nut, nobody could have predicted he would do that, and I'm not responsible for what people in my audience do."
The lone wolf who was the "missile" gets captured and sentenced to life in prison, while the stochastic terrorist keeps his prime time slot and goes on to incite more lone wolves.
Finally, there is no conspiracy here: merely the twisted acts of individuals who are promoting extremism, who get access to national media in which to do it, and the rest follows naturally...
There has to be a way to make something good out of this tragedy, and that would be to expose how the talking heads from FOX News, the GOP and the NRA are perpetuating such violence.
In the future, watch as each of them grooms their next "lone wolf" via mass media news bytes.

Visible Minority Saved Fate of Racist Whites
If it wasn't for the vocal objection of a visible minority, racist whites would still be accepted as the norm. So thank you Canada for enacting the Canadian Charter of Human Rights Act. Sadly though, the way it is written, even a Canadian municipality could use it to protect the majority from legal action by the visible minorities.
However, only the lawless trump justice by resorting to violence, regardless of the consequences such as Canadian crime bills that have the potential to turn your circle of friends on GooglePlus into "gangs".
Yet I am surprised that even the radical reactionaries among the Sikhs haven't retorted to me, when they spend so much time reacting to that radio talk show host who wasn't referring just to them a few years ago, and kept Immigration Canada at bay regarding the illegal immigrant they were rallying around.
Maybe poverty breeds anonymity. My net worth being in the red by almost a hundred C-notes helps me even more anonymous than Anonymous!
Despite the handful of East Asians in the news, I don't see Chinese reactionaries getting as much 300 second sound bytes on the news about those two murders of innocent South Asian women, and very very little from the inconspicuous Japanese - quite probably because mass media would dread the deluge of hate mail if other ethnic groups within the visible minority milieu expressed their free speech rights in a civil manner.
In my opinion, the most ridiculed of other minority groups would be the Christian rednecks amongst the NRA and possibly the reactionary Muslims, the hardliners who are this close to being criminals, but then just uttering an indirect death threat to anyone is criminal.
For a fatwa is not protected by free speech or by the right to freely practice a religious as one sees fit.
If a fatwa involves the death of the object of that fatwa, then whoever among the Muslim clerics supports it is offensive to God by putting the ideology of the holy war before God. Essentially, if a fatwa results in the death of the object of that fatwa, then it is akin to ritual sacrifice. This makes a mockery of God, because such a death is murder sanctioned by man yet excused as "the will of God".
When the will of God consists of devout men willing to kill for their God, this is proof that such men put first their ideology over their God.
For a man cannot serve two masters when it comes to religion.
While I am still at it, the above contentious logic is also reserved for well-meaning but possibly deluded, most likely misinformed and deliberately ignorant fundamentalists, e.g. abortion assassins who can't shoot straight, radical feminists who collaborate with Christian fundamentalists to close down adult stores and legislate pornography, gang members who have harmed thousands of people but have "found Jesus", and police officers going beyond the call of duty to serve and protect only to practice a form of State terrorism abusing people with "non-lethal force" weapons, sometimes with lethal results.
This is religious fascism, be it holy war, assassination of abortion doctors, the legislation of pornography, criminals who find Jesus in prison yet offered no mercy to their victims before prison, and tazer-happy cops being fronted by the company that makes such "non-lethal" weapons.
For fascism only markets violence, of which few participants are able to profit and in which few WWE veterans participate. It offers no social redeeming value and has no plan except to rob people of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Sadly though, few of my detractors are brave enough to register on Blogspot and rise above the usual web page vandalism i.e. spam posts with URLs pointing to scripts to convert unprotected computers into adbots for porn web links. Since I am not referring to the intelligentsia among my fans and critics — your intelligence will protect you from reacting emotionally to this jab at the mouth-breathing script kiddies — hopefully this will occasionally result in a comment.
Otherwise, I will retain this ridiculous delusion that I am talking to myself.
Though, as I wrote in a previous article, it's probably a side-effect of being Buddhist: I tend to pick my words carefully but end up subtly saying something important, or sometimes just inserting the main point in the bottom third of the article. That way, the reactionaries will go WTF and do what they do best — abreact — and thus fall on the swords they've made of their ego projections.
Depending the level of rhetoric and based on which response requires legal intervention, I can empower myself c/o the CCHRA.

After discovering how much work it is to run a web server, I am hooked on using GooglePlus and Blogspot for my benefit and yours to conquer the Internet.
Though my original plan was to one day move this content to another blog web service under my control and administration, GooglePlus fits this bill, but I don't have to move any content when I can share it with the world.
Given the totalitarian nature of the Internet, if I cannot rule the world, then I can start my own blog and write about my own!
However, only the lawless trump justice by resorting to violence, regardless of the consequences such as Canadian crime bills that have the potential to turn your circle of friends on GooglePlus into "gangs".
Yet I am surprised that even the radical reactionaries among the Sikhs haven't retorted to me, when they spend so much time reacting to that radio talk show host who wasn't referring just to them a few years ago, and kept Immigration Canada at bay regarding the illegal immigrant they were rallying around.

How Mass Media Failed to Sell the Tea Party
Once you get deeply into the inner workings of science, the mainstream world's concept of science is mere superstition. There is no magical thinking involved in science.
Hence, the placebo effect has a limited lifespan depending on the patient's belief that the drug works and her faith in the drug's ability to relieve her symptoms.
Another example is quantum physic's Theory of Everything.
This theory unifies gravity, strong interaction, weak interaction and electromagnetism.
While scientists are able to observe the effects of gravity, sub-atomic forces such as strong and weak interaction, and electromagnetism, their causes are subject to debate.
In the real world, superstition occurs when it is assumed that gravity on a distant planet will have the rate of acceleration that it does on Earth.
Another form of superstition occurs when the study into Higgs Boson led to unfounded fears about "the end of the world" scenario when the worst that happened was a scientist left a connection unplugged, leading to the mistaken impression that neutrinos could travel faster than the speed of light.
With regard to electromagnetism, one kind of superstition concerns a perpetual energy machine made of magnets.
Another kind of superstition occurs when the truth about the Tea Party is dismissed as a conspiracy theory. Its sympathetic supporters have been from the mass media, the Republican Party, and the business community. Yet the Tea Party is not a grassroots mass movement, nor are regular meetings of the Party being held.
Rather, the Tea Party is an invention of the radical Right designed to compete with the social activist mass movement, and is facilitated by mass media.
Rather than empowering the people, mass media appears to be empowering the Tea Party. Its popularity is measured in web hits bolstered by political marketing of the Tea Party brand on CNN after Fox News broke their story.
One example of political marketing occurred during the September 12 Tea Party debate on CNN when Republican candidates who had taken up the Tea Party mantle took issue with Texas Governor Rick Perry's controversial executive order in 2007 regarding human papillomavirus (HPV), a common STD which causes cervical cancer.
However, Perry said he had made a mistake by pushing through his executive order, and would have done it differently.
Perry's presence rankled the other candidates with Michelle Bachmann accusing the Texas governor of profiting from the vaccination program by receiving $5000 in political donations from the drug company, Merck.
Mitt Romney used the analogy of a poker player to describe Perry, to which Perry retorted, "You were doing pretty good until you got to talking poker."
However, the issue that annoyed Romney concerned Perry originally labeling Social Security "a Ponzi scheme", which led to the Texas governor asking for Social Security reform while dropping the label in a later editorial in US Today.
Romney defended Social Security strongly, stating "under no circumstances would I ever say by any measure it's a failure. It is working for millions of Americans, and I'll keep it working for millions of Americans."
CNN's intent in air the Tea Party debate was to give the other Republican presidential candidates a chance to show that it wasn't a two-person race between Romney and Perry.
In this debate, the Tea Party candidates discussed job, Social Security and Medicare, and HPV but panned President Obama regarding the $800 billion stimulus package which was supposed to create jobs.
In contrast, jobs had increased in response to the The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Governor Perry's executive act gave parents the option to not let their daughter take the HPV vaccine.
Historically Social Security and Medicare tax rates had been the same since 1990.
In 2013, Social Security tax rates will rise by 2%. Also included are other changes to income tax which are too complicated to describe here.
As for jobs, during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) back on September 7, 2012, former President Clinton credited Republican presidents with creating 24 million jobs during their 28 years in office versus Democratic presidents creating 42 million jobs in their 24 years in office.
Thus, much of the rhetoric of the Tea Party presidential candidates does not fit the reality, and CNN presented the kind of political marketing that predominantly appeals to the emotions rather than a delicate balance of emotions and reason.
Consistently, the candidates presented disinformation throughout their debate while demonstrating showmanship which was not backed up with any rational content to support their emotional appeal.
Throughout it all, the Tea Party candidates tried to create the myth that Obama's second term in office would be worse than his first, which in their minds, resulted in no jobs for Americans with the prospect of higher taxes looming in 2013.
If any of the Tea Party people believe this myth, then the mass media had much to do with it. For it is myth that the Tea Party is a mass movement. Instead, the Tea Party is a political marketing ploy funded by supporters in the business community, mass media and the Republican Party. Through the use of censorship, manufactured dissent, and the radical Right, mass media tried hard to sell the Tea Party brand to save America but failed.
This is why Obama won: his market appeal increased precisely because not only did he appeal to emotions but also his rhetoric stood to reason.

Instead, the rich who actually run Canada are abusing the rights of the poor and criminalizing political dissent when it suits them.
While middle-class protesters object to a rapist who's done his time in Fraser Heights, Surrey BC with impunity, known social activists are being targeted to prevent their participation in political dissent.
