We should be training children to become ninjas, so that when al Qaeda hits the US again during 911 Part 2, they can save us from mercenaries.
Though by then, everyone will know that Qatar and Saudi Arabia are fronting it, and probably caused the first 911 so that totalitarianism could be embedded in the West. Though by then, they might all be dressed in black suits and carrying briefcases instead.
This is the price we pay for globalism: OPEC collaborating with Shell, Exxon, BP and other multinational oil corporations to steal our rights, all due to the corruption of the elites running our countries.
When 911 Part 2 hits, al Qaeda will be a multinational corporation spreading the product called sharia through economic sanctions. If they want the ports of America, then the Saudis will buy them up first.
The reason why I think children should be trained to be ninjas is for self defense. For the Islamists have plans for the girls and boys as long as they are compliant. If they are trained as ninjas, then the mercenary businessmen don't stand a chance.
As it stands now, if ISIS establish their corporate state of sharia, then it's only a matter of time before they invade the West. However, even CNN has yet to consider that possibility. That's because everyone is a sheep, so they won't send their kids to ninja camp.

Divine Wealth
Divine Wealth: "Fearlessness (Abhayam):Among the Divine qualities, Fearlessness stands foremost. Fear is an effect of ignorance. Identification with the body causes fear. Blind attachment to the body, wife, children, house, property etc. is the cause of fear. The sage who has realised the Self is absolutely fearless.
'He who knows the Bliss of Brahman (God) from which words as well as mind turn powerless, fears nothing.' -Taittiriya Upanishad
Fear can be removed by constant thinking of the immortal and all-blissful nature of the Self. If you lead a life of honesty and truthfulness, if you devoutly observe the precepts of the scriptures without doubting, if you lead a life of right conduct, and if you remember God always, you will become fearless."
It is through worship that the mind is focused on good that results from such devotion.
One becomes open-minded and one's heart is softened until a tiny raw edge of fearlessness appears to devour any fears you have. Fearlessness is ravenous in its pursuit of fear, because fear pollutes the stillness of the mind, and prevents the mind from hearing the voice of God.
Once fear is no more, fearlessness moderates bravery by leading one to be hypervigilant against even one thought of cowardice, which is the fear that wants you to retreat from a challenge because you feel unworthy of meeting it.
In having met your challenges, you uncover divine wealth which is worth more than gold itself. For the diamond mind which arises spontaneously due to meditation shines brilliantly and is the result of facing all challenges in life fearlessly.
Even if you are not a Buddhist or a Hindu, then the wealth uncovered by the diamond mind will never fade away as long as you practice meditation.
Such is divine wealth, lasting longer than all riches and material possession. She who realizes its true value early in life shall live a long life!

Buddhism is Childproof!
Buddhism is appropriate for children because:
If children were taught Buddhism, which preaches peace and loving-kindness in a non-religious manner, then perhaps we'll have children who could excel in school due to meditation's effect on critical thinking.
Perhaps then, all children would rather catch that poor innocent wasp to throw outside before it dies instead of torturing it was a magnifying glass.
OK, maybe not, but I cannot see any exception to teaching Buddhism in middle school because it's more of a philosophy and psychology than a religion, apart from a few examples of Chinese Pure Land Buddhism that only looks like superstition to detractors of Buddhism ("daemons" as afflictions or externalized projection of the mind).
Sorry, Buddhism is only a religion to keep a roof over its head.
- the Buddha isn't God and therefore won't suggest kids will go to hell for being children.
- Buddha never forced anyone to believe in his philosophy. Usually people came to him.
- I've never seen Buddhism preached on TV, even during Dalai Lama news bytes.
- "Preach the Dharma" is more like a long, boring school lesson, whereas Christian preaching is religious propaganda.

The "Right" Decision
I decided in Grade 12 I'd never get married.
34 years later, with most of my classmates either single, married or divorced, IMHO that decision gets validated with the latest news headlines about youth crime and "swarmings", thanks to the State monitoring of child abuse in the family (a last resort of discipline) and the resulting "spare the rod, spoil the child" method of child rearing now being enforced.
Yet I sometimes get told that I've never truly lived a full life because I've never raised a family.
In retort I say "The Dalai Lama never raised a family, but he has saved his Tibetan culture, which in essence is his whole 'family'."
Thus, in choosing not to raise a family of my own, I chose to help and be of service to others. Indeed, in my eyes, the whole world is my "family".

SEXISM IN A NUTSHELL
Sexism is found in a male-dominated culture which promotes a paternalistic ideology that puts men first, above women and children.
However, it depends on the situation. If I rib a close relative about getting married and "pop" some kids, I try to quickly say, "Just kidding!"
In a democracy, a bunch of politicians would enact laws to protect women, children, family and men by vote but commoners such as you or I cannot get elected. The lucky candidate must be upper middle class. Sexism is kept in check by laws which uphold human rights laws regarding women.
In the family, nobody is elected. Two people make love, and within 4 months, she's showing. Because sexism is learned behavior, usually it's done to fit in with an out crowd.
Yet in an equalitarian society, each gender, both young and old, take turns dominating the other out of fun, not spite. >:)

Be there for the Children!
To all the parents in the world:
Otherwise, I'll grow up just like Daddy and Mummy, learning to lie about my life, not just to myself but to you and the world, because you didn't try to nurture love and kindness when I needed it the most.
Signed,
All the children of the world.
- No fighting in front of me -- even though I don't use the big words like "financial" and "adultery", if I see you two fighting, it is traumatic. I may even wonder if I caused you two to fight.
- Be gentle and meek around me, and have patience. I am not emotionally ready for the real world. If I had face it too soon, I would have lost my sweet innocence.
- Don't lie to me if I ask you if you still love me. Be honest about the feelings that you love me, unconditionally, in spite of everything that happens before I reach puberty.
Otherwise, I'll grow up just like Daddy and Mummy, learning to lie about my life, not just to myself but to you and the world, because you didn't try to nurture love and kindness when I needed it the most.
Signed,
All the children of the world.

Poor Parent-Child Relationship May Cause Sociopathy: the Asa Coon Case
Reference: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=3721204
In mid-October 2007, Asa Coon shot four people at an alternative school in Cleveland. The previous Monday he had been suspended for fighting with another student. The reason? His declared fannish worship of Marilyn Manson, who he deemed his "God".
SuccessTech Academy is an independent alternative high school established to "help" troubled youth who have been disenfranchised from public school due to their dysfunctional behavior. This school didn't have the money to hire two security guards, and on the day of the shooting the only guard was on vacation.
The key statement in this article is the disrespect shown between mother and child. Both his mother and Asa Coon used to diss each other regularly. As well, his elder brother Stephen had been in prison, and Asa has been in and out of juvenile court.
Thus, poverty only causes sociopathy only if the parents do not respect social rules.
And of the four people shot by Coon, none of them died. However, the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound behind the right ear.
This is surely proof that Asa Coon did not intend anyone harm but was only acting out his rage at being unjustly suspended for daring to defend his fannish worship of Marilyn Manson

Why I Don't Date
1) Better to conquer oneself than conquer a thousand men.
2) I value peace of mind by the sublimation of sexual desire through meditation.
3) The first traumatic film in Grade One that I experienced was about a child molester but showed the setting and succeeded in having me only associate wooded areas with danger. Today, kids these days have faith in all the myths about "psychos" from Hollywood.
4) Because of 1) overconsumption requires eating one meal a day, substituting diet beverage for alcohol and pop, and walk a mile 3-4 times a week each day or the equivalent at the gym.
5) Actually most people today get boring the more they drink because they don't remember any of the good things I did for them when they were sober. I can count the number of people with more exciting stories to tell me and who will never over-drink ever again on both hands. The number of people who were drinkers and led interesting lives I know is two: one of my friends and my Dad (except my Dad died of old age).
6) Women can either go lesbian, do it solo with their BOB or find someone better.
7) What a woman calls independent living means no men; what a man calls independent living means sleeping when he wants, washing when he wants, and being able to keep a beer can collection. What I call independent living means adequate rest, cleanliness and living within my means.
8) I've yet to meet a woman who could drink the same amount of booze I can without being paranoid of too much drinking. If I had no intent of acting anything other than a gentleman these past years, then I should remember being jailed for it. Since I have no such intentions drunk or sober, then frankly ladies, your paranoia about drinking with men is only emphasized by the "mistakes" you have made while drunk. Because I had no such intentions all along, I have decided being sober is a wiser choice at my age.
9) There are too many errors of judgement in dating. You rarely get a second chance when you make a mistake unless you admit that you did err and wish to correct your ways.
10) "Do you like children?" a fellow castmate asked WC Fields. Fields weaved around a bit, and then slowly slurred, "With catsup..."
I once read a book by some Irish author which proposed that children of the poor be well fed like domesticated animals and then slaughtered to end the Irish potato famine. This satire actually implied that had the poor of Ireland not been busy procreating, that the famine would not have occurred.
Well, we do not have that problem today. Children are becoming a scarce commodity these days because people are actually procreating less than they did 300 years ago.
Ah, the joys of compulsory education! Stuff your brain full of unrelated facts for 12 straight years, and the first one learned is "women no longer really need men to raise their children" and the second one learned is, "chemistry is the code word for a lot of failed experiments, some good experiences, and so much potential".
Even so, IMHO a few men and women have forgotten all about love by the time they are my age, mainly because of the propaganda from the media. Indeed, a diet of soap operas and romantic novels contributes to this myth. It goes great with the one about men only having egos, which isn't true according to my research on psychology. Women have egos, just like men do, except just like every other aspect of the female mind, they internalize it. Indeed, women tend to over-analyze using their egos in ways that no males can, and then some. Though, men are quite capable of using their egos like they don't have their manhood handy.
So that's why I don't date. I am content to maintain peace of mind through mindful practice.

70% of Parents Accept Kids With Mental Illness
It looks like American parents are more likely to accept kids with asthma than kids with mental illness.
"Many respondents did not want their children to become friends with other kids identified as having mental illnesses or have them come over to spend an evening socializing," said Jack Martin, Ph.D., lead study author.
The Indiana University research team looked at data from a national face-to-face interview of adults who were given descriptions of children of various ages with symptoms that were similar to asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression or "normal troubles." The interviewer never mentioned a specific diagnosis.
"We used asthma as a baseline condition because it represents a physical problem with a known and standard treatment," said Martin, who is executive director of the university's Karl Schuessler Institute for Social Research, in Bloomington. "We wanted to see if Americans felt differently about a child with a mental health problem."
Almost 30 percent of the 1,134 participants said they would not like their child to become friends of a child with depression, and almost one in four said the same thing about ADHD. Roughly 20 percent said they did not want a child with either ADHD or depression living next door. But when asked about friendship with children with "normal troubles" and asthma symptoms, negative responses dropped to 10 percent or less in all categories.
"[People] aren't as concerned, however, if a child with mental illness is in the same class as their child or if a child with mental illness moved into their neighborhood," Martin said. "This study suggests that a large number of Americans just don't want their kids to be spending time with other kids suffering from ADHD or depression."
The study appears in the latest issue of the Journal of Health and Social Behavior.
It must be really hard for parents of a child with mental health problems to help their child make friends and be accepted by peers.
Definitely though, the good news is 70% of parents will accept a kid who is mentally ill while three in four parents will accept a kid who suffers from ADHD.
Let's just hope the 20% of parents who don't want to live next door to either kid aren't influential members of society.

Early use of SSRIs may worsen emotional disturbance
Mice treated with the antidepressant Prozac early in life grow into adults with emotional problems, a new report concludes.
Whether the drug has the same effect on people is unknown. But the result will add to the growing debate over what risks Prozac (fluoxetine) and similar SSRI drugs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) pose for young children and unborn babies.
'If they really need these drugs, people should take them. They can be life savers,' says Jay Gingrich, a psychiatrist at Columbia University in New York City, US, who led the research. 'But it is a little bit alarming to find they might carry risks that aren't apparent until later in life.'
Researchers began injecting mice with fluoxetine four days after birth until they were 21 days old. Nine weeks after their last injection, the adult animals were given a series of behavioural tests designed to assess their level of anxiety and depression.
The team found that rodents who received drug as newborns were more intimidated by new surroundings and moved more slowly to avoid painful shocks compared to controls. 'They are more inhibited in novel situations,' says Gingrich. 'Extrapolating to people, we'd say the mice are showing symptoms of anxiety and depression or emotional problems.'
With more and more children being given SSRIs to treat socially inappropriate behaviors, the risks associated with emotional disturbances amongst young adults is increasing at alarming rates.
Although children on SSRIs may no more likely to experience a brief psychotic episode than children with a substance abuse disorder, the increased risk of self-harm and/or harm to others does not justify increased use of SSRIs to moderate socially inappropriate behaviors.
Rather, it appears that the use of SSRIs is merely another method of regulating children's behavior, and is not unlike the use of TV and video games in that the parents may choose the relative peace to actual pro-activeparticipation in their children's lives.
Indeed, studies have shown that parents who actively participate in their children's lives also aid in moderating their children's behavior such that socially inappropriate syndromes are easily moderated.
So yes, getting involved in their children's lives is more effective than Paxil and Ritalin.

Perhaps Human Problems Are Symptoms of Our Social Stress
The public education system is designed to manufacture wageslaves not people.
The stress of having to adapt to this repressive system results in "mental illness".
Such disorders as psychoses, mania and depression are all temporary, being maladaptive behavior to adapt to stress, especially that of the insidious double-bind.
The prime example of the double-bind is the "love/hate" relationship of parent and child.
Indeed, human relationships are rife with schizophregenic manifestations complete with depression, mania and psychoses as ways of adapting to the stress of getting along with each other.
And our mental and social ills are the symptoms of human society stressed to the breaking point.
