Middle Brother: The Foil between Big Brother and Little Brother Actors
Specifically "little brother" is described as one or more members of an organised group, usually a family, who undermine the work of Big Brother, be it deliberate or unwittingly; through low tech methods such as gossip and white lies.
Within context of these two actors, the act of sabotage is known as "white lying"' i.e. when a Little Brother hides the truth to provide disinformation or misinformation to Big Brother. Its physical analog is an ID card that does not contain address and phone number, and the owner does not give such information.
"Gossiping" is when a Little Brother spreads rumours with manufactured facts and circumstances. Its physical analogue may be fake photo ID for an imaginary friend whose name represents no one living or dead or a fictional character. Admittedly, gossip is harmful when Big Brother has to assume that the information provided is truthful unless careful analysis by forensics detects the subterfuge.
Overall, Little Brother is a part of an undetectable and unorganised group. It is undetectable provided its privacy is protected by law. While Big Brother may spy on the People, the intelligence gathered is not a candid disclosure in-camera. Instead, the watchdog committee is able to communicate with Big Brother but not with Little Brother, due to the unreliability of witnesses.
Big Brother cannot detect Little Brother activity because a large organized group such as a spy agency, be it business, government or military, is unable to detect small unorganised groups which may or may not be practising counter-intelligence.
In fact, the main advantage of Little Brother has over Big Brother is its size — any group representing Little Brother contains 12 or less citizens, and sometimes may also consist of one or more family units.
Most Little Brother groups are not even aware that they are counter-intelligence actors until they are used by Big Brother or other State agency, or a corporation.
When an alleged whistle blower writes on a social media forum, the information cannot be authenticated as true when a pseudonym is used instead of a real name, complete with matching address and phone number and other additional information.
Therefore, alleged whistle blowers could be considered Little Brother actors unless they are committed to full disclosure for the good of the People. This disclosure of their identity may result of their cover being blown and expose confirmed whistle-blowers or sociopaths or even "crooked politicians" to public scrutiny.
Training of Little Brother actors is simple: protect children from child abuse and neglect as well as sexual abuse. Also protection of girls, women and mothers from sexual abuse and assault as well as domestic abuse will assure that children and especial young girls may be safe from harm until adulthood.
Conversely, children may also make great Little Brother actors by depending on their risk to abuse and neglect, bother sexual and physical.
Because it is more difficult for Little Brother groups to form large cohesive organizations, the Little Brother actors who were not adequately nurtured may fall into the following categories:
Criminals: Although not all criminals are from abusive childhoods filled with neglect, the majority tend to admit to abuse when young but become targeted by the State. Soon they learn to keep quiet. but may sometimes act out their respective childhood trauma through anti-social behaviour, provided no one suffers violence. This assessment may require more prison doctors and mental health clinicians to handle the actors who fall this category. Sometimes it takes a court order to break the doctor-patient relationship. Usually this is done in-camera without public knowledge and denied by all parties involved.
Mentally Ill: The mentally ill come in all sizes and shapes, While the actors with truly sick minds fall in this category, not all the people in group homes are that sick. Most of them need counselling to help precipitate a total breakdown before they can be moulded into Little Brother actors. It also helps to over-medicate them to inspire the brave ones to act. Even they may be moulded into Little Brother actors.
Addicts: Regarding criminals, the mentally ill and the addicts; the addicts are the lowest of the low. Sometimes though, it's hard to tell the difference. Physical addictions to drugs certainly motivate Little Brother actors. This is why non-violent actors associated with criminals and the mentally ill use a drug addict to use intimidation and violence against their enemies. One example of non-violent actors are the intelligent members of street gangs known to the State. Therefore addicts are useful human resources providing both non-violent and Little Brother actors, provided that the latter do not expose non-violent actors to embarrassment and ridicule; lest the latter make use of addicts and mentally ill to intimidate Little Brother.
Psychopaths: Well known as liars, these people may even become unwitting victims of child and sex abuse. For their lies make them perfect Little Brother actors, except that psychopaths may experience sudden death by "accidentally" getting in the line of fire. Indeed, the likelihood that the psychopath believes his own lies is unknown, for his choice of truth-telling may have resulted in quiet time in his room at home, detention hall at school, and even criminal arrest. Then at a certain point in adolescence, he realizes that being honest and telling the truth leads to frequent physical abuse from a parent, and lost connection with his grandparents which substitutes for motherly nurturing. Perhaps the only cure for psychopathy is time.
In conclusion, one question remains unanswered: do Little Brother actors actually exist? Is Big Brother able to detect said actors? The choice is yours to make.
For the author is neither Little Brother nor Big Brother. Rather he's the Middle Brother, the name for the actors who represent the dividing line between repressive control of the People by Big Brother and the freedom inherent in Little Brother's lack of organization.
Indeed, he is a representative of the People but also selectively votes for State actors known as politicians. He is not Anonymous because he is neither a John Smith nor a Jane Doe. Rather, he is merely a watcher, and is looking out for both of his Brother actors.

Love What You're Doing
Love what you are doing!
Be passionate
about what you're doing
when it becomes hard work.
With passion, any rational person would keep working.
If fun describes what you're doing,
and if you absolute love it,
then you work that much harder.
Love what you are doing!
The Pure Land Explained
Buddha is originally defined as a person who decides to become spiritually awakened out of compassion for the suffering in the world.
However, within certain Mahayana sects, a Buddha is also defined as the incarnation of a person who becomes a Buddhist monk of a spiritually high rank. He then vows to be reborn as a Buddha by making a series of vows to realize the Buddha world in which he is reborn.
In his meditations, he visualizes this Buddha world in detail. Then he reports it to his fellow Buddhists to help inspire them to reach the same spiritually high rank.
But is a Buddha a god? Not in the sense of a Creator since a Buddha is reborn in his Buddha world.
So is the Buddhist monk who realizes this Buddha world a god? Not at all, for the karma of his vow to be reborn as a Buddha resulted in that world being "created."
Yet that monk is still a man, who was born, sought to relieve suffering by becoming a monk, and reached parinirvana on his death.
Therefore a Buddha is not a god.
In the case of the Pure Land of Bliss, the Buddha reborn in it is Amida Buddha. In his previous incarnation, possibly in another system of worlds, he was the monk Dharmakara. Formerly a king, he learned of the Buddhist teachings through the Buddha Lovesvararaja and renounced his throne.
Resolving to become a Buddha, he came into the possession of a Buddha world, a world existing in the primordial universe outside of ordinary space time through the merit of his meditation practice, a world having many perfections.
Through his 48 vows, his resolutions were expressed. These vows described the type of Buddha world
After many rebirths accumulating great merit, Amida achieved buddhahood and still dwells in the Buddha world called the "Pure Land of Bliss."
Suppose for a moment though, that Buddha worlds, Pure Lands and even other systems of worlds, are a part of a specific multiverse. Let's call that multiverse Buddhadharma.
In Buddhadharma, the Indian gods also come to visit a Buddha world of their choice. Once they appear there, the gods listen as the Buddha who resides there instructs the bodhisattvas on their mission before each one of them is reborn in anther part of the Buddhist multiverse. These bodhisattvas are Buddhist laymen, monks and nuns who aspired to be reborn in that Buddha world, and have yet to achieve Buddhahood.
As well, there are also many pesky demons which that Buddha has met in previous incarnations who wait outside the gate to this Buddha world, hoping to hear the Buddha as he instructs his disciples.
Furthermore, let's also imagine that the three worlds of existence (formless, form, and desire) of Buddhist cosmology also exist in the Buddhist multiverse.
Now, where do you suppose that multiverse exists? Why, in our imagination! Perhaps in our dreams, were we to aspire to be Buddhist, and in our lives, were we to dedicate ourselves to the Buddha.
Yet, I am of the opinion that the Buddhist multiverse exists in any sentient being's mind who learns the Buddha's teachings.

More words on the Absolute: Pure Land is not Heaven
I don't believe in the Heaven of the Christian, Jew and Muslim.
The "soul" I speak of is called the "Self" yet is non-self itself. It is arises from karma's action Buddha-nature, and is not permanent.
Remember the aliens from STNG and DS9 that flowed together in a lake of their fellow beings?
The soul is like that. We return to "God." All the souls join together as one in Oneness. This oneness is called the Absolute. On death, each sentient being's mindstream flows into the Absolute
Thus, the soul is impermanent, because in returning to the Absolute, all souls die and their respective mindstream share their collective memories.
When the mindstream is reborn, it is reborn as a human. I am not fond of the karma where you get reborn as hell being, hungry ghost, human, asura or deva.
For every person wishes he could be reborn as a human being.
My soul is not the soul of my previous incarnation, though its karmic path pointed to me.
For the previous soul is no more at death. What gets reborn in Pure Land?
The result of karma in this life and previous incarnations only affect going to Pure Land if the karmic seed to affect rebirth in Pure Land was planted in previous life.
Ditto for rebirth in this world as human. For Buddha gives each bodhisattva instructions before being incarnated in this world of birth-life-death (samsara) as a human being.

Dear Ottawa: How to Fight Crime Using an Apple IPad Mini
But there's a catch to this service:
If you don't return to a life of crime, then you get a mini.
If you don't use drugs anymore, then you get a $100 iTunes gift card.
If you don't prostitute yourself, then you get $400 worth of iCloud storage space.
If you stay away from crime and get a fulltime job, then you can pay off the debt of $1000 at $20 a month for 60 months (5 yrs).
Yep that's 20% interest on $1000 over five years.
After a year's assessment to see if you are a good citizen of Canada, the government should give the reformed criminal $100 iTunes card when he goes to the yearly probation interview.
The icloud storage cannot be used to store child porn. That results in an automatic jail time, without any guarantee another prisoner won't stick a shiv in your gut.
This is not a freebie.
Creative Editor in Photos Acting Wonky
I just finished creating a Good Night picture from a photo I made yesterday.
Then the screen faded, and I can't get to the posting popup window to save it to GooglePlus.
That's the second time that happened.
Hopefully I don't have to restart Firefox.

TYVM, Gentle Readers!!!!!!
A month ago, I decided to monetize my youtube account, too.
Though the income has been modest ($1.81 for gandhara and 72 cents for youtube), you'll hear no complaints from me.
So almost daily I thank Google for their ad service.
Please don't get paranoid over the picture accompanying this blog entry, gentle readers.
Most of the statistics do not retain personal information about your choice of OS.
That cannot be done by Google. They do not have that mentality like cyber-criminals do.
I heartily endorse Google for their resistance to corruption by net-bot farms and hacking by foreign interests. Most of the information leaked was perhaps because one Windows computer was pwn'd, due to lack of security on that PC. I bet it was freshly installed too.
So thanks to the internets. You've been good to me and to Google!!!
Confusion Reigns in Wake of 1-866 Number for Income Assistance Recipients in Surrey
If I screwed up like that, and was a business then I'd get sued.
If the government fucks up, then I have to gaman (bear with it).
Boy, are they lucky I'm Japanese-Canadian cos my Anglo buddies in the line at the local office would cuss up a storm.
Since I have been using the 1-866 number, I am getting fucked over by the confusion caused by not noticing I am in North Delta, not Vancouver!!!!!!!
Pageviews by OS Reveals iPad Mobile User Reads Gandhara.Blogspot.Ca
WOW! I noticed that someone used his iPad to view my blog.
Thanks but next time, could you post a comment? Maybe I need to pan iPads...
GooglePlus has helped me immensely by allowing me to merge the blog with my G+ account.
Thanks for viewing my pages, gentle reader!!!!
Comments on my Blog after Hooking It Up to Google
As well the number of hits to my blog has increased. More importantly the money Google is paying me has increased to a total over$2.50 if you include my monetized youtube.
Though, after doing the math, it take 8 years for me to amass $100.
Sigh... If I was female with big boobs, then I would be getting cheques monthly.
Man! Letting those kids on-line really corrupted the Internet.

Be vigilante
Today is the time personal security mmay be threatened both in real life and online.
Most people are up to date about online security.
However it us in the best interest of families to enroll them in a martial arts class for their own protection.
To not do so is to risk their future victimization.
Why wait? Parents, do your duty!
Meditation on Gender, Western and Eastern Cultures, and Psychotherapy
May everyone progress in their spiritual journey.
May everyone endeavor to perfect their minds.
With peaceful heart, may this one walk the path
towards the moment of putting out the fire,
and thus passing onto a higher plane.
Analysis of meditation
"Be at peace" implies a peaceful heart.
"Progress" accepts that not all people who desire a perfect mind have a perfect body.
However, with more effort the dedicated practitioner achieves more peace and calm.
"Endeavor" implies that all one needs to do is act to perfect your mind. Perfection of a mind implies that one learn to meditate. It does not happen right now; yet even after the first week, meditation will lead one to a perfect mind.
With peace comes satisfaction. This is a given. In walking the path, this one encounter less obstacle to reach the goal all Buddhists desire: Nirvana. This desire is not tainted by desire for fame or gain, because that desire corrupts the mind.
Thus one needs to put out the fire of desire, so that one may pass onto a higher plane of existence. This higher plane does not make the earnest practitioner above it all. Rather, she sees no difference between herself and another person with regard to the mind.
A Meditation on gender
For the only difference between man and woman is physical. Our description about the human condition is gender neutral. Likewise, gender is actually unimportant.
In denying women access to the tools of Buddhism such as meditation and the breathing exercises, the Theravada form is sexist to Westerners whose culture is highly sensitive to women's rights. Yet the Theravada form is fostered in a culture where sensitivity to women's rights is fine in politics, but not in religion.
Thus, the apparent sexism is designed to help women understand their place in that culture, which is called Eastern.
Eastern and Western Cultures
Were I to blend the two cultures, it is possible to have a broader understanding of both cultures so that Westerners may understand Eastern culture.
As well, to criticize Theravada Buddhism effectively, the practitioner needs to understand his culture and its effect on Buddhism.
For why is it that Zen is favored over other forms of Buddhism. Shingon Buddhism may
look like a mix of mysticism and symbolism, but it works for a Shingon practitioner.
Psychotherapy and Buddhism
Yet Buddhism is practical for anyone to use, and the breathing exercises of meditation have been incorporated in cognitive behavior therapy.
Thus a psychotherapy that incorporates meditation as its therapeutic tool only uses it to achieve a calm mind. By separating the spiritual part of meditation from the physical part of breathing and posture, such a psychotherapy is devoid of spiritual development.
In this way, anyone can use such therapy to reduce the effects of stress so that one can do anything. Yet there are few statistics on how meditation relieves stress.
Final Meditation
May all who read this know that this person who wrote these words that the spiritual journey is a sacred one, yet it is also a personal journey of self-discovery.
May all know that "self" in context of the spiritual journey is not the ego, that part of a person's psyché that motivates one to seek comfort and satisfaction.
For the "self" this person speaks of is the higher self on that higher spiritual plane which few people achieve except for the greatest of practitioners.
May all also know that "this person" refers to the author of this meditation.
May all who read this discover happiness to be not a goal but a state of mind that is fleeting.
May all who achieve this state of mind of happiness be satisfied with their lot.
For to desire happiness is unwise; it would be better to enjoy the moment.
May all who achieve happiness know that meditation is more fun when you are happy.
May all who realize how fun meditation is, focus on their breath.
This person respects Amida Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light of loving-kindness and also the Buddha of Infinite Life of compassion.
---
The above is an example of how I explore Buddhist meditation. I don't just sit on my ass gazing at my navel.
Since meditation helps me to think even though my body is tired, it is in my best interest to use the tools before me to put my thought down.
My mind requires self expression, yet in this blog entry, that expression is done so that the gentle reader may understand where I am coming from.
As well, there is a minor catharsis occurring when I express myself. Even though my writing is not sophisticated and tempered by academic training, its topic at the moment is religion but not the religion most people are adverse to.

Update on My Medications
Since then I have not used any more cetirizine due to the anxiety.
However, I prefer flexeril for the sedation I get the day after.
This is what sedation feels like for me with either drug: I feel mellow, and am able to moderate my negative emotions and remain positive despite the stress of daily life.
Even the pain in my left shoulder went away on flexeril.
Usually I take gabapentin (Neurontin) with flexeril at bedtime. Gabapentin is used to moderate pain, and relieves my anxiety. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant.
Yo prevent dependence on gabapentin, I take 100-200 mg. Likewise for flexeril, the dose is 10 mg.
Neither drug causes physical dependence. However, one may become habituated to either drug over time.
As well, I have never noticed any changes in behavior that could not be explain by other factors such as stress.
Therefore, when used according to the recommended dose for each drug, flexeril and gabapentin are useful in getting adequate rest at night.
For me, both medications are safer than the alternative.
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for any person taking any medication mentioned above at more than the recommended doses, either alone or mixed with other drugs.
My Way of Learning from the Past
This is why I have forgotten most of that year. Though I do review that part of my life from time to time to understand myself better.
However, because of the risks of being candid with my feelings online, I'm not going share them unless asked.
People do mature, and part of that maturity includes keeping one's true feelings to oneself, to save everyone else from the awkwardness that total honesty sometimes evokes.
To people who claim that I am being two-faced or worse, that I am dishonest, those are weasel words. On the Internet, honesty does not mean you tell your audience the truth.
When the time comes to be candid, each of us will choose what truths to share, while holding back the truths we hold vital to the very existence of our personal privacy.
Thus, honesty on the Internet requires only that I be sincere about the truths that I share.
Furthermore, I try to live according to the Japanese philosophy of honne and tatemae.
One's true feelings and desires are personal and private. They may reflect in the behavior and opinions one holds in public (façade). Sometimes, it is more practical to behave and speak according to each situation.
This only seems to be deceit, when viewed through a cultural lens that follows the either-or fallacy about truth.
In holding back the honest truth, one does not lie when the truths revealed help to prevent loss of face.
If I write that my father died, and do not write my feelings about it, then that only means that my feelings are personal and private. His death is mentioned to show that I do have feelings about that date.
Just because I didn't fully describe my feelings about my father's death, it cannot be assumed that I didn't feel loss or pain.
At this time I will admit that I was moderately depressed at the time due to losing my best friend the previous year (2006).
However, I've overcome depression and am managing it by treating the insomnia it causes. This is as much important as being able to express my emotions and process them.
If you were to ask how I feel now, then I would answer "I feel that the worst of my depression is over, and I have come to terms with both my friend's and my father's deaths."
For I would rather remember the best moments shared with my father, rather than wish he were alive.
As for my friend's death, it wasn't until I'd actually stopped wishing he was still alive that my mourning over him stopped.
Likewise, I try to remember the best moments shared with my friend.

Predicted Dates for Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and 4.2
Now with Android 4.2 on its way, my prediction for upgrade to Jelly Bean via my provider is within a year (by October 2013) and Android 4.2 by March 2014
Since these are predictions about when my provider will upgrade Android, I continue to wait patiently until the upgrades get pushed to my phone.
When those upgrades happen, I'll make a note of them in this blog entry.

Thanks for Helping Me Better Access the Internet, Google!
Even so, it may have been a simpler time for the people living then.
Today, my computer makes up for living in this post-modern world. Life is much more complex today than it was 70 years ago. We had our security shattered by 9-11. Subsequent wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq are now in the process of being discontinued. Small conflicts have been ongoing in many different parts of the world as well.
Locally, it's become harder to find a job. It's even harder for people to know others, as well as they know themselves.
When I walk away from the keyboard, I don't worry about what is happening in the world. What's the point of needlessly stressing myself out? Things not immediately affecting me are ignored.
When I am dead, life will carry on. Nobody but my closest friends will remember me. Though they will carry on with their lives, some of them will have benefited from knowing me. For my cares will be over forever in that future time.
As of this moment, I am happy and upbeat, because many people are counting on me to remain positive and a few of them actually need me.
This is why I appreciate having a computer. With it, I am able to share my deepest feelings with other people.
For I alone have decided so very long ago to use the Internet to motivate me, not crush my spirit.
So thanks to the internet, I've made a lot of friends and am thankful to each and every one of them.
Thanks for the Internet
With interesting friends,
And rising popular trends
To match everything we learn
Who would ever dare return
To simple times without regret?
Thanks to the Internet!

When You Die, You Disappear for Good. Scary!!
When I saw WoO when I was 16, I flinched.
Today I think it's cool that just by removing the fake legs, you could fool kids into believing when a witch dies, she disappears for good.
That's what scared me. That when you die, you disappear for good.
Think about it: When we die, we disappear for good.
No wonder I was fucking scared at 6 or 7!!!!
I was afraid of not being remembered when I died.
Yet at 6 or 7, who can explain why we get scared? We just feel the feeling but only at a mature age can we explain why the action leads to the emotion.
Today I am no longer scared.
Phear me!
